We are a dental clinic seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily clinic operations while delivering a warm and professional experience to every patient who walks through our doors.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and register patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for all dentists
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and email enquiries promptly
- Handle patient registration, update personal and medical records accurately
- Collect payments and issue receipts; process insurance and CHAS/Medisave claims where applicable
- Dispense medication and provide post-operative care instructions to patients (where trained)
- Manage and coordinate the daily appointment flow to minimise waiting time
- Assist with general administrative duties including filing, stock ordering, and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception and waiting areas
- Sterilisation and processing of instruments
- Liaise with dental surgeons and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient transitions
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or medical/healthcare setting is preferred, but not mandatory — on-the-job training will be provided
- Proficient in English; ability to speak Mandarin or other languages is an advantage
- Good computer literacy; experience with clinic management software is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, patient-first attitude
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Singaporeans and PRs preferred
