Job Summary

You will prepare cleaning tools and chemicals, collect and dispose of waste, sweep and mop various areas including nurses’ stations, dining areas, and dormitories, clean toilets and equipment, and maintain cleanliness in the nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning tools, including trolleys, brooms, mops, and chemicals, to ensure readiness for daily cleaning tasks
• Collect waste materials from all levels and transport them to the dustbin center to maintain a clean environment
• Empty and clear all dustbins to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene
• Sweep and mop nurses’ stations to ensure a sanitary workspace
• Sweep and mop dining areas after each meal to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Sweep and mop dormitories, wash toilet floors, sinks, and toilet bowls to uphold hygiene standards
• Clean and maintain brooms, mops, and cleaning machines to ensure their effectiveness and longevity
• Store all cleaning equipment in designated places at the end of each day to maintain order and accessibility
• Sweep and clear dry leaves in the nursing home to keep outdoor areas tidy and safe

Qualification / Experience

• Minimum PSLE.
• Physically fit.
• Basic proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor / colleagues.
• Able to complete tasks within designated schedules.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and staffing activities for both local and foreign employees, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Oversee the administration of staff accommodation for foreign employees, including coordinating with appointed HDB realtor for suitable dormitories, managing tenancy agreements and renewals, monitoring occupancy, utilities usage and payment and ensuring compliance with MOM accommodation requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on HR-related matters.
• Assist in addressing employee relations issues, including handling grievances, conducting preliminary investigations, and supporting disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate and administer employee training and development programmes to support workforce competency and professional growth.
• Liaise with employment agencies on matters relating to the application, renewal, cancellation, and repatriation of foreign employees’ work permits.
• Submit online applications to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for foreign worker levy waivers during employees’ home leave periods.
• Process applications with MOM for levy concessions or conversions when foreign employees successfully obtain relevant certifications, including the ITE Healthcare (Home Care) qualification.
• Serve as the key liaison with government agencies and external stakeholders, including MOM, the Ministry of Health (MOH), Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), embassies, and other relevant authorities on matters relating to employment and foreign workforce management.
• Administer insurance claims and coordinate with insurers as required.
• Compile and prepare payroll-related information for submission to the Finance/Accounts Department.
• Update relevant authorities and systems, including the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector databases, regarding staff appointments, resignations, and employment status changes.
• Ensure timely updates of foreign employees’ residential addresses with MOM and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Submit mandatory surveys online, including MOM Labour Market Survey.
• Participate as a member of the Cybersecurity Committee, supporting the development, implementation, and promotion of cybersecurity policies, staff awareness initiatives, and compliance requirements across the organization.
• Manage official correspondence and administrative communications for the nursing home.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Chief Operations Executive and Management Committee.

QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations, particularly MOM policies and foreign workforce administration.
• Experience in healthcare, nursing home, or community care settings is preferred.
• Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation to get tasks done independently.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Working 8 am to 5 pm (Mon – Fri); Alternate Sat 8 am to 12 noon.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care and support the daily operations of the ward.

The successful candidate will assess residents, develop and review care plans, administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and ensure accurate documentation incompliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary care, supporting medical and allied health professionals, managing vaccination and infection control programmes, monitoring quality indicators, participating in audits, and ensuring adherence to MOH guidelines and organizational policies.

The Staff Nurse will also supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, conduct competency assessments, facilitate staff orientation and training, engage residents and families in care planning, and oversee ward operations, medical supplies, equipment maintenance, and resident appointments to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and person-centred care.

Qualification / Experience

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Valid Practicing Certificate
• Valid BCLS certificate
• Preferably with geriatric and/or nursing home experience
• Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Working 3 shifts (7 am to 3 pm, 9 am to 6 pm and 1 pm to 9 pm)
