Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising construction sites and projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that a construction project is completed on time and within budget.
- Update on projects progress and reporting to Director.
- Liaising with the clients, management committee, construction personnels on sites and sometime public.
- Deploy / coordinating and supervising construction workers.
- Arrange tools and materials collection / delivery to sites.
- Making safety inspections and conduct meetings with workers on daily job requirements.
- Ensure safety compliance across the worksites.
- Maintaining quality control procedures and cost saving methods.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
- Writing reports and do paperwork related to projects.
- Helping to source and negotiating new contracts and new clients.
- Issue quotations, invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Answer inquiries via phone or emails from potential project partners.
- Mediate and handle on-site conflicts, complaints and feedback.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics / Civil Engineering / Project Management / Business Administration.
- 5-7 years’ experience in a construction environment or project-based work site.
- Certified Construction Site Safety Supervisor or building trade vocational certificates.
- Budget management experience required.
- Able to communicate fluently and write well in English.
- Possess driving licences, Class 2B (Motor) & Class 3 (Car)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends, as needed)
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
