We are seeking a Social Worker to provide professional casework and psychosocial support to individuals and families with complex needs. The role will support Conferences in accompanying Friends-in-Need (FINs), while contributing to case management, community partnerships, and service delivery initiatives.

Job Descriptions – Key Responsibilities

·       Provide end-to-end case management, including assessment, care planning, intervention, review, and case closure for individuals and families with complex needs.

·       Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments, identify key issues and protective factors, and develop appropriate intervention plans guided by professional standards and ethical practice.

·       Support Conferences in reviewing client needs, coordinating referrals, and liaising with community partners and social service agencies to facilitate holistic support for FINs.

·       Provide professional input and guidance to Vincentians, including supporting training and sharing good practices in assessment, intervention, ethical case handling, and cultural sensitivity.

·       Work collaboratively with internal teams, community partners, and government agencies to coordinate services and strengthen support networks for clients and families.

·       Support the planning and implementation of programmes, group work, and community initiatives aimed at improving the psycho-social well-being of individuals and families.

·       Maintain proper case documentation, reports, and records in accordance with organizational and professional standards.

·       Participate in supervision, professional development, and organizational learning initiatives to strengthen practice capability and service delivery.

·       Support data collection, programme evaluation, and research initiatives where required.

·       Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Social Work; RSW preferred or eligible for registration.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in the social service sector.
• Experience in casework, psychosocial assessment, care planning, and community-based intervention.
• Familiarity with professional ethics, practice standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to social work practice.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with volunteers and community partners.
• Ability to exercise sound professional judgement and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and community settings.
• Proficient in MS Office and case management systems.
• Open to learning, adaptable, and aligned with the organization’s values.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

The Programs Executive will be reporting directly to the General Manager. This position shall be accountable for the various programs under the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (National Council of Singapore), and SSVP Ltd; ensuring the effective management of volunteers, resources, processes, and systems to support the success of every program.

Job Description

1.      Administrative Management

• Manage and maintain the programs administrative systems, processes, and policies to achieve efficiency and productivity.

2.      Programs Management

• Assist the General Manager and the respective committees in overseeing all programs.
• Work closely with the various stakeholders in the planning, budgeting, and execution of assigned tasks to achieve successful completion of each program.
• Manage the procurement, tender evaluations, quotations, and contract administration relating to each program.
• Liaise with appointed suppliers on deliveries, and follow-up on any actions required.
• Manage the full cycle of each program from start to end, on distribution weekends and/or any day of the week where required.
• Manage volunteers – from training of new volunteers to the efficient allocation of duties to volunteers on load in / distribution weekdays and weekends.

3.      Warehouse and Inventory Management

• Manage the warehouse and the relevant facilities.
• Manage relevant stocks / inventories related to the programs, ensuring all items are restocked timely in accordance to demand.
• Conduct regular inventory audit where necessary to ensure every item is accounted for.

4.      Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure the warehouse is following the local fire and safety code.
• Ensure every program is compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection, and risk management in line with internal and external regulatory policies.

5.      Support to National Council and SSVP Ltd

• Support the National Council (NC) and SSVP Ltd, and their various Committees on adhoc activities where support is required.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3-years of experience in programs operations, administration management of events, or a related field.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with non-profit operations and volunteer management (desirable).
• Proficient in computing skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
• Ability to work on weekday evenings and on weekends when required (with appropriate compensatory time/day-off).

The Operations and Administration Manager will be reporting directly to the General Manager. This position shall be accountable for day-to-day operations and administration of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (National Council of Singapore), as well as for the various programs under SSVP Ltd; ensuring effective management of resources, processes, and systems to support the mission and programs.

Job Description

• Oversee assets management, including office and warehouse facilities operations, coordinating renovation and construction projects.  Ensuring safe, secure, and efficient environments across all SSVP-owned and leased properties and all legal entities.
• Manage procurement in compliance with related policies and local legal regulations.

3.      SSVP Ltd Programs

• Assist the General Manager and the respective committees in overseeing all programs under SSVP Ltd.
• Work closely with the various stakeholders in the planning, budgeting, and execution of assigned tasks to achieve successful completion of each program.

• Oversee new and/or adhoc projects and track progress towards project objectives.
• Provide support to committees and working groups on annual/special/adhoc projects/events.

5.      Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection, and risk management in line with internal and external regulatory policies.

6.      Support to National Council and SSVP Ltd

• Support the National Council (NC) and SSVP Ltd, and their various Executive Committees on where support is required.
