Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This role is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory
  
• Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable
  
• Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing movement, vibration, real time reading
  
• Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities
  
• Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
  
• Provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
  
• Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders
  
• Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory
  
• Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data
  
• Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
  
• Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusion
  

Skills / Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Geotechnical Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience
  
• Working knowledge of site safety
  
• Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline - Water, ground and environment
  
• Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
  
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
  
• Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
  
• Possess strong computer skills
