About the Role
We are building a new business division focused on industrial valve solutions in Singapore. We are looking for a drivenand independent Business Development Executive to take ownership of sales growth from day one.
This role is suited for someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced,build-from-scratch environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
· Manage inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities
· Own the full sales cycle:prospecting, qualification, quotation, negotiation, and closing
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers (contractors, traders, end-users)
· Prepare and follow up on quotations in a timely manner
· Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets
· Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities
· Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth order execution
Requirements
· 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role
· Experience in industrial products (valves, piping, engineering) is an advantage, but not mandatory
· Proven ability to generate leads and close deals independently
· Comfortable with cold outreach(calls and emails)
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Self-starter with high ownership and accountability
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision
