As a Senior Quality Engineer in our Global Manufacturing and Operations team, you’ll be developing award-winning products for consumers worldwide, ensuring that they are designed, produced, and delivered at the best quality standard. This highly challenging yet rewarding role requires strong management skills and meticulous monitoring of our product & process quality to provide our customers with the best experience.

Our Global Manufacturing and Operations team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality of Secretlab’s products and manage Product Life Cycle from development through to production and aftersales
• Design, implement, lead, and continuously improve initiatives which enhance quality standards of our product, processes, and suppliers
• Build and implement a quality management system which accounts for regular inspections, testing and auditing of suppliers
• Ensure that our quality standards are adhered too, collaborating with on-site SQEs to ensure the necessary tests and audits are performed.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues pertaining to products and/or processes, collaborating with the relevant teams to troubleshoot and provide resolutions while preventing repeated failures.
• Regularly monitor and report on quality KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improving our quality control processes
• Provide support and solutions to the Customer Service team on market feedback in a timely and effective manner, incorporating these feedback to build and improve quality in product development. improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as our Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers, and Sourcing teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to prevent/mitigate quality issues from early stages till end-of-life.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality control procedures and standards.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Undertake special projects or assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Quality Engineering, or a relevant course of studies. External qualification as a certified quality engineer would be an added advantage.
• At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience, with good knowledge and practical experience in Supplier Quality Management and Manufacturing processes is preferred
• Good knowledge of and ability to interpret ISO 9001 and BIFMA standards, and prior experience as Internal Quality Auditor is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quality concepts, methodologies and tools and awareness of the impact of the failure/ cost of quality.
• Knowledge of, and hands-on experience with developing reliable problem-solving approaches.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with good skill in organizing tasks based on priority.
• Strong communication skills with business proficiency in English and Mandarin (verbal & written, for liaising with Mandarin speaking vendors).
• Strong sense of initiative, taking pride and ownership of work tasks.
• Availability to travel as needed to perform supplier assessments/audits.

You will be a valued member in our award-winning Product team, responsible for creating products for consumers across over 60 countries. In this dynamic role, you will innovate mechanical designs while balancing feasibility for manufacturing, seeing our products from R&D to mass production.

Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of mechanical/mechatronics research and development from concepts through to mass production
• Design innovative and robust mechanisms to achieve the desired outcome of product requirements
• Create 3D designs in CAD (Solidworks) and 2D engineering drawings with application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Conduct DFMEA, DFM, and DFA for designed products and components
• Perform FEA simulations to ensure designs are robust
• Perform hands on in-house prototyping for functional and aesthetic validation
• Manage multiple projects with a mid-high level of complexity
• Work closely with Industrial Designers to develop their ideas into plausible concepts
• Support Product Developers in effectively communicating product specifications to our suppliers and addressing any engineering-related concerns.
• Collaborate with Quality and Reliability engineers to identify and propose solutions for product failures, as well as generate testing plans/setups
• Prepare administrative works and documentation for any design deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 6 to 8 years of working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in the consumer product space.
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical components such as motors (steppers, servos, DC), gearboxes, encoders, sensors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• High level of proficiency in CAD (Solidworks, pro-e, inventor)
• Prior knowledge in manufacturing processes and materials such as (but not limited to) Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, Die Casting, Foam Casting, Welding.
• Proficient in quick-turn prototype building (3D Printing / CNC / Laser Cutting)
• Knowledge of Design For Manufacturing & Assembly (DFX), interpreting tooling design and mold flow reports.
• Strong sense of ownership over work tasks and able to drive projects through from conceptualization to completion
• Highly innovative, enjoys creating new things
• Extensive first-hand experience working with factories/ contract manufacturers and their suppliers/ sub suppliers.
• Agile thinker, able to adapt to changes quickly
• Fluent in English & Mandarin (in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers)
• Availability to travel as necessary for visiting of suppliers/contract manufacturers

You will be a valued member in our Production team, responsible for all 3D production. As a Motion Designer, you will build our products in 3D and create static and video marketing materials. You’ll work closely with a talented team of creatives in the Production team to create visually stunning 3D work that reach a global audience. Most importantly, you are objective driven; while the visuals look aesthetically stimulating, the visuals serve to deliver a message to the viewer.

Responsibilities

• Building desirable 3D environments to showcase our products.
• Execute texturing, uv mapping and rendering detailed models of our products.
• Execute motion graphic visuals as marketing collaterals for the upcoming launches.
• Storyboarding and conceptualizing in motion & 3D space in video format.
• Identifying opportunities where 3D motion graphics provide better message delivery as opposed to static graphics.
• Elevate Secretlab’s production quality to the next level.
• To explore untapped mediums and art direction within the realm of 3D motion graphics & animation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably within the consumer goods (hardware) space.
• 3D generalist with proficiency in lighting, animation, modeling, texturing and rendering.
• High technical proficiency and expertise in: Cinema 4D (Redshift Renderer), After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Key understanding in lighting, colour theory, compositing, concept development, typography, graphic design.
• Strong sense of motion and design language that aligns with Secretlab brand identity.
