• To review, implement and maintain the workplace safety and health standards of SBST premises to ensure compliance to all the regulatory requirements of the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislative requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Occupational Safety and/or Environmental Health or related fields
• Completed the WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C) course or higher
• Auditor trainined in ISO45001:2008
• Completed Work At Height (WAH) Assessor course
• Relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

This role requires on-site investigations for serious accidents, analysis of accident trends, and the implementation of safety initiatives to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accident Investigation: Conduct timely and accurate investigations into all accidents and safety-related incidents involving SBS Transit vehicles.
• On-Site Investigation: Perform on-site investigations for all serious accidents to gather evidence and determine the cause.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed accident reports to management and relevant authorities. Present findings of serious accidents to the Board of Inquiry.
• Driver Assessment: Monitor and assess bus captains’ driving habits to identify areas for improvement.
