The Account Executive, Corporate and Research at Sandpiper, supports and assists in the delivery of client programmes across both the Corporate PR practice, and Sandpiper Research and Insights. A core member of the accounts team, providing both client servicing and team support.

At a general level, the responsibilities include the following:

1.      Deploy effective entry-level agency skills with enthusiasm and proactivity.

2.      Support and assist the delivery of client programmes and account teams.

3.      Track time and work efficiently, delivering high quality account servicing.

Detailed role description:

This role is multi-faceted embracing the following areas (not listed in particular priority):

Client handling and account management

·       Support day-to-day account coordination to ensure timely and effective delivery of account actions.

·       Field day-to-day client contact at appropriate levels.

·       Provide clear, timely reporting and monitoring.

·       Attend client meetings and actively contribute to progress updates and briefings.

·       Actively deepen knowledge of client’s business and related issues.

·       Solid level of written and verbal communication.

·       Prepare client documents in the appropriate formats.

Business development (BD)

·       Conduct research and content development for new business proposals.

·       Show enthusiasm in building an external network and industry profile.

·       Assist with marketing initiatives and networking to gather leads and insights for clients and colleagues.

·       Offer new ideas and deliver fresh thinking to both new business briefs and existing clients projects.

Team Contribution

·       Assist senior colleagues in fulfilling their responsibilities.

·       Provide timely and effective updates on programme execution.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage client accounts and act as a day-to-day point of contact

·       Develop content across various formats including blog content, thought leadership pieces, media materials such as press releases, fact sheets, and work with creative teams to develop video and social media content

·       Coordinate with internal teams (digital and creative)to deliver integrated campaigns

·       Support event planning (e.g., conferences, webinars, launches)

·       Conduct research on healthcare trends, policy, and stakeholder landscapes for clients and new business proposals

·       Support with issues and crisis management

Requirements

• At least 3-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or healthcare industry (agency experience preferred)
• Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, private/public healthcare a plus
• Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
• Understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong media and client management skills
• Experience with media monitoring tools and digital platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or other

Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting and delivering Sandpiper’s client work in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region when required. Your role will also include:

· Draft, edit, localise, or translate editorial for a range of client communication deliverables including news releases, features, customer stories, DM material, advertorials, etc.

· Demonstrate understanding and awareness of key media; to actively sell stories into the media; and to build relationships with journalists

· Monitor and follow up editorial opportunities on behalf of clients as directed

· Assist in the delivery of agreed client programmes / actions with responsibility for providing timely and clear reporting on progress

· Attend and participate in client progress/briefing meetings where required.

· Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and advocates and assist team members in creating and implementing traditional and social media campaigns

· Conduct new business research and attend networking events for leads

· Actively deepen knowledge of clients’ business, issues, and relevant media to support teams in the delivery of overall business objectives.

· To update and maintain in-house media lists, as required
