Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, regulations, and company safety policies.
Prepare and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and safety plans.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety training for workers and staff.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation exercises.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
Advise management on safety improvements and measures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and government authorities on safety-related matters.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site.
Stop unsafe work practices and recommend immediate corrective actions when necessary.
Monitor environmental, health, and safety performance at the workplace.
Assist in safety audits and inspections conducted by clients or regulatory authorities.
Promote a positive safety culture and encourage worker participation in safety programs.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or utilities
Valid WSH Officer recognized by MOM.
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements.
Able to work 6 days per week and willing to be stationed on-site.
Good leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
