• 4-day or 5.5-day (alternate Saturday) work week.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on production & assembly work in accordance to work instructions & safety regulations.
• Perform verification tests at sub assembly levels & failure analysis.
• Ensure preventive & corrective measures are in place.
• Maintain good production records & housekeeping.
• Able to work independently and closely with Engineering & Project Team for feedback on issues, progress & productivity.

Requirements:

• NITEC or Technical Education in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably 2 years' relevant working experience.
• Able to use basic production jigs & tools.
• Possess good communication & organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving skills & constantly seek improvement to increase productivity.

Candidate with the following requirements will be advantageous (not a necessity):

• Experience in Electrical field.
• Hands-on soldering & assembly works.
• Worked with liquids & sealants.
• Meticulous & good with handwork & small components.

Others:

• 5.5-day (alternate Saturday) work week.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design and develop lighting systems and modules for customised products or new products.
• Evaluate and develop design improvement, technical solution and cost reduction for existing products.
• Analyse manufacturing problems and recommend solutions.
• Perform and check engineering calculations and prototypes to verify product design and production methods.
• Source for and evaluate suppliers, components and products.
• Create, monitor and evaluate test programs to verify/validate product performance.
• Prepare calculations, schedules, reports, drawings and other related documentations and analysis.
• Create, check and maintain appropriate engineering documentations in support of a product design, in accordance with Company’s procedures.
• Provide sales, production, operations and project teams with technical and design support onsite and offsite.
• Track project status and coordinate for successful testing, commissioning and completion.
• Maintain library of research data, detailed methods, evaluation of components, materials, products and production methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (or similar based on experience).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Portfolio of products designed and produced.
• Examples of solutions engineered.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D/3D and lighting calculation software.
• Experience in 3D printing.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and materials.
• Advanced analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls, including routed calls, take and deliver phone messages
• Prepare, monitor and update quotes, project schedules, production schedules, purchase orders, delivery orders and tax invoices
• Manage and file all office documents
• Reply to enquiries and emails upon gathering and presenting the relevant information
• Prepare and coordinate incoming & outgoing deliveries, both local and overseas
• Purchase within budget and manage the use of office supplies (e.g. office printing materials and stationeries, groceries, etc.)
• Manage the maintenance and repairs of office furniture and equipment (e.g. photocopiers, fax machines, air-conditioners, office desks and chairs, etc.)
• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Minimum ‘N’ or 'O' Level qualification with at least 2 years of working experience
• Adept in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and possess a positive attitude
• Good planning and organising skills
• Good time-management and multi-tasking skills
