Responsibilities:

Role Purpose:

The Transformer Project Manager (HV & MV) is responsible for managing assigned transformer projects in Singapore from contract award through delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, energisation, and final handover. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and in compliance with client, regulatory, and OEM requirements. This role supports the overall transformer project portfolio works closely with internal functions including Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Installation, Testing & Commissioning, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

§  Project Delivery (Assigned Transformer Projects): 

§ Manage assigned HV and MV transformer projects from contract award through final handover and closeout.

§ Ensure delivery is aligned to scope, schedule, and budget targets.

§ Coordinate with clients, consultants, and OEMs for design reviews, delivery and site readiness, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and energisation.

§  Planning & Scheduling

§ Prepare project execution plans, milestone schedules, and short-interval look-ahead plans.

§ Track progress across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, FAT, delivery, installation, oil works, testing, and energisation.

§ Implement recovery actions and escalation where delays occur.

Requirements:

§ Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field.

§ Project Management Professional certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

§ Minimum 5–8 years in electrical infrastructure projects and 2-3 years in a project management or project engineer capacity.
