Job Summary

Support project management by coordinating contract execution, preparing technical documents, managing schedules, and ensuring quality and compliance across multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in executing contract progress and project controls including budgeting and planning
• Prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, catalogues, and engineering calculations to meet project requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and forecasts to track progress and resource needs
• Calculate bill of materials and engineering deliverables to support project implementation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones
• Monitor and perform quality checks on completed work stages and recommend improvements for effective project management
• Develop method statements and testing procedures to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards
• Produce project status and progress reports to communicate updates to stakeholders
• Attend progress and technical meetings to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues
• Write clear reports and documentation to support project records and communication
• Facilitate effective communication among engineering, technical, construction, and project control teams
• Inspect installations and operations to verify compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
• Support project manager with all other project administrative tasks as required

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the local construction industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects
• Experience with precast design
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet tight project deadlines

Job Summary

Report to the Tenders & Contracts Manager to prepare tender submissions, manage progress claims and payments, and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to ensure compliance and certification of project claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tender documents accurately to support project acquisition
• Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders (VO), and project finalization to ensure timely financial closure
• Invite and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, verifying compliance with tender specifications and drawings
• Analyze and interpret tender specifications and drawings to ensure accurate submission and compliance
• Liaise and build effective working relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate certification of payment claims

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management/Administration, or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant construction industry experience

Job Summary

Coordinate and monitor M&E works to ensure compliance with project schedules and authorities’ requirements. Lead sub-contractor coordination, resolve design and construction issues, and oversee inspections to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare M&E work schedules aligned with the project master schedule to ensure timely progress
• Monitor shop drawings and material submissions to maintain project standards
• Verify M&E drawings for compliance with authorities’ requirements to ensure regulatory adherence
• Identify and highlight discrepancies or conflicts between M&E drawings and architectural or structural elements to prevent design issues
• Prepare progress reports to document project status and inform stakeholders
• Coordinate between sub-contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction issues and ensure smooth work delivery
• Monitor installation work to confirm alignment with coordinated plans and quality standards
• Conduct inspections and testing of building works, documenting records upon verification by RE/RTO to ensure quality control
• Follow up on rectification work and other necessary tasks to maintain project standards
• Monitor sub-contractors’ submission of drawings as per coordinated requirements to ensure consistency
• Guide M&E supervisors on site work according to coordinated plans to support effective execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination is advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Coordinator in a local construction firm
• Knowledge of local standards and requirements relevant to M&E coordination
• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration
