Job Description & Requirements

Supervisors and general foremen in building and related trades supervise activities of a distinct unit at a construction site, control and coordinate the activities of workers who are engaged in various occupations.

Tasks include:

• Interpreting specifications and job orders
• Determining sequence of operations and use of equipment
• Estimating manpower requirements
• Assigning duties to workers
• Analysing and resolving work problems
• Coordinating the work of one or more units with other units
• Recommending or initiating personnel action
• Supervising co-workers and helping them in their work
• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control site safety and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Job Summary

Manage project planning and construction activities on-site, lead project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant progress, and maintain strong client and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning and oversee construction works at the site to ensure smooth execution
• Lead and coordinate project activities to achieve progress according to schedule and budget targets
• Attend site meetings to identify and resolve construction and site-related issues promptly
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration
• Advise and guide project staff by outlining work plans and assigning duties to optimize team performance
• Apply knowledge of underground and above-ground sanitary works to support project requirements
• Apply understanding of water tanks and pump installations to ensure proper implementation
• Apply knowledge of rainwater piping works to support project construction and compliance

• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential risks or challenges

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

• Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction, support and mentorship

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects

• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and technologies

• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
