About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor who is passionate about building a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement.

 Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will partner closely with site leadership to provide specialist advice, practical tools, training and governance oversight to support the effective implementation of health, safety and environmental systems. You will play a key role in promoting wellbeing and resilience, ensuring our people return home safe every day and that the site meets its legal and ethical obligations.

You will also act as a critical link between the site and the wider divisional HSE function, championing the implementation and embedding of Group HSE standards, systems, inspections and audits. This role has a strong hands-on component, leading incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions, while supporting leaders to lift capability and accountability across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and continuously improve site HSE management systems, ensuring alignment with group standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the HSE Lead and site leadership team to embed a strong, proactive safety culture focused on engagement, wellbeing and resilience.
• Act as a visible safety leader on site, promoting best-practice HSE behaviours and outcomes at all levels of the operation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, standards and company requirements.
• Lead and support incident, injury and near-miss management, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions and follow-up.
• Support environmental management activities, including audits, monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and support the site H&S Committee, inductions, training, audits and HSE reporting.
• Guide and coach leaders and teams to ensure HSE systems, procedures and expectations are clearly communicated, understood and consistently applied.
• Support contractor and visitor safety through effective contractor management, induction and compliance processes.

Skills and Experience

• Certificate in Workplace Health & Safety (Level 4) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a dedicated health and safety role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, principles and best practice.
• Experience implementing and maintaining HSE management systems and supporting audits and accreditation processes.
• Confidence in incident investigation, risk assessment and corrective action management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach and build effective working relationships.
• Well-developed organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and system management.

The Supervisor oversees the in-field maintenance and support of warehouse distribution with mobile garbage bins (MGBs) for councils and commercial customers safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

As Maintenance Manager at Pact's Moorabbin site, you will lead the maintenance function of the Injection Moulding (IMM) plant to ensure maximum equipment reliability, plant uptime, and asset life extension. Drive Lean maintenance systems, strong maintenance practices, and advanced mechatronics automation integration to support world-class manufacturing performance. Restore and sustain production flow through structured preventive maintenance, predictive systems, and continuous improvement. Your role includes ensuring full compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory standards while managing maintenance risk in a 24×7 food‑grade manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the site leadership team, you will contribute to plant strategy, the reliability roadmap, and long‑term asset sustainability.

Your key responsibilities:

• Safety leadership of team and crews with regular participation in hazard ID’s, Safety Behavioural Observations (Audits), risk assessments and WHSE campaigns that actively drive a culture of behavioural safety
• Develop and implement a robust Preventive & Predictive Maintenance program aligned to OEM standards.
• Drive reliability improvements across: Injection moulding machines, Robots, Vision systems, Auxiliary equipment (chillers, dryers, compressors)
• Reduce breakdown frequency and MTTR. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on chronic failures
• Maintain asset life cycle planning and capital replacement strategy.
• Develop technicians beyond reactive maintenance into: Reliability and Automation specialists
• Conduct regular one-on-ones focused on: Skill development and Performance improvement
• Scheduling, supervising and progressing the condition and PM maintenance practices and schedules to efficiently support the production line equipment and supporting services of the manufacturing process to minimise production downtime
•  Promoting improvements to safety systems in use on all equipment and production lines
• Continue development of reporting and carryout regular Toolbox Talk meetings on Safety and Quality
• Managing maintenance records to demonstrate adherence to standards and allow for analysis and improvement of maintenance spend.
• Coordinating the requirements for new equipment designs, surveys and maintenance schedules to applicable Australian Standards
• Co-ordinating all contractor support, services, and maintenance activity inclusive of cost and quote establishment, induction completion, JSEA completion and other risk assessments
• Leading discussion and implementation on engineering design upgrade improvements
• Assisting with long term capital planning and implementing capital projects.
• Playing an active part in highlighting areas for reducing production costs such as waste, setup time etc.
• Managing the forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast (three or more months)
• Implement supply chain improvement initiatives, ensuring the improvement of forecast accuracy and inventory levels
• Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our Dandenong manufacturing site. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment within a 24/5 manufacturing environment.

The role will play a key part in an upcoming site expansion, supporting the relocation of another facility, including the transfer and commissioning of machinery. Experience with site or machine relocations will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide critical leadership across maintenance, engineering, and continuous improvement activities. You will work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to support operational excellence, asset reliability, and OEE improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Leading site maintenance operations to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and safety
• Managing preventive and condition-based maintenance programs (TPM)
• Driving safety leadership through audits, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and WHSE initiatives
• Managing contractors, including inductions, JSEAs, and compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and managing spare parts inventory
• Managing the site maintenance budget and capital expenditure
• Leading and supporting capital and improvement projects (typically under $250k)

Your skills and experience
