Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by the French couple Delphine Lefay and Diego Dultzin Lacoste, OnTheList isa leading premium flash sales concept in Asia and the Middle-East. OnTheList works to minimize the problem of excess stock by turning past-season inventory into sustainable opportunities. OnTheList works directly with retail brands and official distributors, turning old inventory into opportunity by providing a sustainable way for brands to sell past-season items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while providing the best deals and steep discounts to our OnTheList members. Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016, OnTheList has hosted over 5,200 flash sales and has built a community of over 1.3 million members across all regions. We’ve since expanded to Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, Shanghai, Beijing, Thailand, and Dubai.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH...

Ecommerce Operations:

• Execute online flash sales events by managing product content (product names, descriptions, visuals), pricing accuracy and site readiness to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Liaise directly with brand partners to gather all required information to execute the online events.
• Support end-to-end Online flash sale events for Singapore and Malaysia, from pre-event preparation, live event monitoring and event closure.
• Closely monitoring the stock’s movement and ensure inventories are well kept to date, removing OOS items from website when needed.
• Ensure cross-channel consistency with external actors, from brand partners to the internal Business Development team, Offline Operations team, Marketing team and Customer service to ensure a smooth process and achieve targeted results.

Brand website storefront and improvement:

• Create and design online store images and banners, and promotional assets aligned with campaign requirements and brand guidelines.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales performance through product bundling and pricing mechanics to drive conversion.
• Improve the end-to-end online shopping experience through enhanced UX/UI, clearer navigation, and checkout optimization.

Analytics, Reporting and Optimization:

• Coordinate closely with warehouse and courier partners to support smooth supply chain operations and timely order fulfilment throughout the event lifecycle.
• Prepare daily sales reports and post-event performance reports with insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders and brand partners.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines within the team.
• Provide on-the-job support and coordination with junior team members when required.
  

WHAT IT TAKES…

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce role
• Possess experience in merchandising field in a retail environment is a plus
• Knowledgeable in Shopify or other retail e-commerce platform
• Some experience of supply chain or operations management
• Proficient in Excel, copy writing and other MS Office skills
• Good knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
• Responsible, well-organized and attention to details
• Diploma/ Degree holder in E-Commerce, Logistics or any related discipline

Roles & Responsibility

1. Operations support

• Conduct competitive and market analysis of the previous sales performance in terms of discount / vouchers / bundles offers applied to improve and optimize the next one
• Continuously assess and optimize operations processes, procedures, tools, and automatization of recurring reports
• Monitor KPIs and set-up guidelines to measure the performance and service level of the floor team
• Prepare weekly team meetings - gathering information from different departments and transferring it to the whole team
• Support the floor team on Flash Sales event execution when necessary

2. Corporate business development support

• Prepare monthly sales and management reports, evaluate sales trends, and highlight areas of action
• Analyse sales and adapt each analysis to brand needs and particularities
• Participate in post-sale meetings with brands
• Data analysis - compute consumer data to provide insightful trends and understand consumer behaviour and preference
• Assist in drafting of agreement with brands
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor

Knowledge, experience and capabilities

• High-energy self-starter with a relentless, entrepreneurial work ethic
• Proactive, able to understand the needs of the brands / customers / team
• Exceptionally organised, with time management and multitasking skills
• Flexible and able to work across departments, quickly switching between tasks

The Business Development Executive will support the Senior Business Development Manager in driving business growth across the region, including pitching to potential clients and partners, and assisting with the execution of weekly events across both online and offline channels.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH...

• Proactively identify and follow up on new business opportunities to achieve international sales targets and support the company’s strategic plan
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential brand partner, and opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
• Support the development and maintenance of a pipeline of potential business leads, using industry contacts, online research, and networking.
• Assist in developing and executing data-driven business plans for weekly events, ensuring optimization of stock lists and sales performance across both offline and online channels.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day communication. Proactively follow up with brands to provide necessary information and updates.
• Coordinate and following up with brands with regards to agreements in a professional manner
• Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, ecommerce, etc to ensure seamless event execution.
• Responsible for sales recap, and any other type of reports that include event outcome, feedback, recommendation etc to improve for future collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement in client satisfaction.
• Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

WHAT IT TAKES…

• Min Diploma holder in Marketing, Business orequivalent
• Min. 2 years of working experience is preferred
• Experience in Fashion / Cosmetics / FMCG / Department Store would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the Retail industry, ideally with retail network
• Excellent negotiation skills and eager to deliver results
• Target driven and figure-oriented
• Strategic thinking and enthusiastic problem solver, autonomous
• Must be a self-starter, organized, clear communication and good teamwork mindset
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
