JOB DESCRIPTION
Process Optimization
• Analyze existing warehouse and supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and
improvement opportunities to identify bottlenecks and resource waste.
• Design and implement process improvements to increase productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Develop standardized workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent execution across all shifts.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives to embed a culture of efficiency.
Warehouse & Systems Operations
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and picking/packing workflows to maximise efficiency
• Improve inventory handling processes to reduce errors, losses, and handling time.
• Analyze warehouse throughput and implement automation or system improvements where necessary.
• Support implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Logistics & Supply Chain Integration
• Improve efficiency inbound and outbound logistics processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline goods receiving, stock replenishment, and distribution.
• Analyze logistics costs and propose cost-saving initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor operational KPIs such as order fulfilment time, inventory accuracy, picking efficiency, and warehouse productivity.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to track operational performance and provide management with insights on actionable insights
• Use data analysis to support management in decision-making and operational improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with warehouse supervisors, logistics teams, procurement, and sales departments.
• Train operations staff to ensure adoption of new processes and systems.
• Support digital transformation and system implementation projects.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure that all warehouse and supply chain activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Implement quality checkpoints within the picking and packing workflows to ensure quality
• Support the company in ensuring all process changes meet strict regulatory requirements.
