We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong cost management skills, extensive construction knowledge, and practical experience with AutoCAD drawings.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
Manage and monitor project costs to ensure completion within budget
Prepare tender documents and conduct tender evaluations
Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Evaluate subcontractor claims, handle variations, and prepare final accounts
Prepare progress claims, project reports, and contract documentation
Monitor project progress and advise on cost control and contract matters
Assist in reviewing and producing drawings using AutoCAD when required
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD software
Hands-on experience in reading, editing, and producing drawings using AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of construction materials, costing methods, and contract administration
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
