RESPONSIBILITIES:

To be able to effectively assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down when deemed necessary.

Dealing with authorities, staffs, client’s representatives, public, neighbours and other interested parties on matters related to safety & health.

Conduct daily safety inspections and compile all relevant reports and records.

Conduct regular inspection and see to it that person responsible for the NC recorded or raised by interested parties are informed to perform corrective actions with photos evidence of closure.

Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken

Ensure reporting of incident comply with legal requirement.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of experience as Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).

Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore.

Candidates with prior experience in HDB Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage training and courses for foreign workers
• Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, including work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations
• Support monthly payroll processing, including overtime calculation
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate HR records
• Handle general administrative duties and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
• Able to work independently and willing to work overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end closing)
• Handle insurance claims (WIC) and medical insurance administration
• Familiar with PAM software for worker records, updates, and checks

- To provide estimate, computations & work on contractual/technical/project change orders.

- Prepares monthly progress payments to main contractors/consultant/clients.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, execute, monitor and control project as per contractual, client and QEHS requirements.

· Ensure smooth implementation of work progress so project can be completed on time, within budget and meet contractual & safety standards.

· Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance in terms of QEHS, schedule and cost.

· Define clear roles & responsibilities, and deliverable requirements of team members.

· Monitor construction productivity and provide recommendations for improvement to works.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Capable of taking instruction from Client’s Rep, consultants and contractor’s project manager as and when required or directed.
• CRO shall be competent and possesses the skill, knowledge and ability to manage the public relations issues and general project queries with residents effectively.
• He/ She shall possess good communication and interpersonal skills in liaising with subcontractors in day-to-day’s work activities and project stakeholders (HDB, Town Council and Consultants) pertaining to the project/ resident’s matters.
• CRO shall generate the HIP block schedule and units work schedules in good times to aid the materials & manpower resources planning.
• Manning the Information Centre Counter operations and Information Hotline.
• Attend to residents’ defect feedback or query and making appointment with owner for a visit or joint inspection by RTO and Supervisor. Making appointment for Supervisor to attend the defect rectification and monitoring of work done for defect closure.
• Draft and reply to feedback/ queries and message from residents within stipulated timeframes.
• CRO shall be in-charge of proper recording and filing of vital documents required by HDB, forms and records, and photos into HICS.
• He/ she shall attend and provide administrative assistance and logistic supports in the Working Committee Meeting (Construction Phase) as and when directed by Client’s Rep or Consultants.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “A” Level with 2-3 years of public relations experiences preferably in Home Improvement Program (HIP) projects.
• He/ She shall be capable of communicating effectively in English and one other official language.
• Possesses computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PPT.
