PART A: Duties & Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain the firm relationship with Japan Group Headquarter Finance and Accounting Department in Japan with full understanding of Group finance strategy, and Group Accounting standard
2. Develops financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to the top management, outlining strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
3. Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management team
4. Responsible for ensuring effective internal controls, risk and compliance management framework are operational is the Asia Pacific region
5. Work with the top management on the development and evaluation of short term and long term strategic financial objectives and goals
6. Oversee and manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation and reporting
7. Propose action plans and ensuring annual financial objectives are attained
8. Develops financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis,
9. Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time

PART B: Experience & Skill-set required

1. Minimum Degree related to Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Management or equivalent field, or graduate from Recognized Accountancy Bodies.
2. CPA / ACCA equivalent accreditation
3. At least 10 years of working experience and 5 years of experience in a Corporate Finance Managerial position within a fast paced and dynamic environment
4. Result-oriented, have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and proactive
5. Team player and able to work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting
6. Sharp analytical mind, attention to details, exceptional problem-solving skills, and have an ability to remain calm in times of uncertainty and stress
7. Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English and Japanese is required to communicate effectively on finance and accounting matters and to support professional discussions with the Group Headquarters in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess a good understanding of corporate sales travel, business meetings & events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global corporate clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow meetings, events and corporate travel business from existing and new clients.
• Identify opportunities; prepare customised proposals and present solutions that meet client objectives and budgets.
• Provide excellent customer service & development of long-term relationships with current & prospective clients
• Transfer of corporate sales travel, meetings & events knowledge / methods and human resource development within the organization
• Manage end-to-end event and travel operations coordination, including vendor-sourcing, negotiation, and contracting.
• Monitor project profitability, track sales metrics and report on performance.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the company from time to time

Requirements & Qualifications

• Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in corporate sales travel and/or meetings or events field
• Excellent verbal and written English;
• Japanese language skills would be an advantage to liaise closely with Japan counterparts.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Highly self-motivated with sales result driven approach
• Results-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage pressure.
• Customer service oriented, excellent presentation & negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Own and achieve individual revenue targets and sales KPIs
• Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new clients across Singapore
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
• Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposal development
• Drive consultative sales conversations, understanding client objectives and translating them into event solutions
• Develop and grow long-term client relationships to generate repeat and upsell opportunities
• Support event planning and coordination in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
• Ensure smooth delivery of meetings and events
• Represent JTB at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in MICE, events, or agency environments
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University in Business, Sales, or an Acceptable Combination of Education and Experience.
• Proven track record in new business acquisition and revenue growth
• Strong understanding of consultative/ solution-based selling
• Strong interest in the Meetings & Events industry
• Experience engaging corporate clients and key decision-makers
• Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel across the region
