- Previous experience in central kitchen environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of food safety procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand forecasts.
- Supervise kitchen staff, manage duty rosters, and organize the flow of food orders.
- Oversee the entire food preparation and cooking process to ensure efficiency.
- Ensure the high quality and consistent presentation of every meal served to clients.
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness standards in all kitchen work areas, including food prep stations, refrigerators, walk-in freezers and the pantry.
