• Assist new agents to apply GIA approval to represent us.

b) Premium matters

c)  Claims updates

d) Bond analysis

Every Quarter or bi-monthly for Gross Premium Written (GPW)

• Manage Agents annual CPD hours and CPF data entry to ARCM system.
• Assist in agency training matters like email invites, attendance taking and CPD hours update
• Assist in yearly GIA agency renewal exercise.
• Issues pertaining to GIA Agency matters
• Email blast to Agents on industry / company info updates, campaign and promotions
• Email blast to Agents on their Gross Premium Written (GPW)
• Liaise with Agents for collection and exchange of documents
• Liaise with Finance team for premium and commission matters
• Liaise with Claims team for Claims updates and inform Agents upon request.
• Anyother duties as assigned by the Competent Authority

Requirements :

• Degree/Diploma/relevant Insurance qualification.

Legal Operations & Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and distribution or agency contracts.
• Provide legal interpretations on new business initiatives, ensuring all contractual terms align with company risk appetite and local laws.
• Provide legal oversight and support to the Claims department on complex or high-value cases, including the assessment of liability and interpretation of policy wordings.
• Act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel for any ongoing litigation or dispute resolution, ensuring cost-effective and timely management of legal proceedings.

AML/CFT Compliance

• Monitor AML/CFT compliance and conduct half-yearly audits. Liaise with HODs to regularize screening processes.
• Manage Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) with the SPF and ensure timely reporting to MAS.
• Identify sanctioned entities from regulatory updates and work with departments to ensure Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk cases.
• Analyse regulations and benchmark against industry peers to modify internal AML policies accordingly.

Regulatory Compliance (PDPA, IRAS, GIA, Companies Act, MAS)

• Work with the Company Secretary to ensure compliance with the Companies Act and maintain statutory records.
• Oversee PDPA compliance, ensuring data processing agreements are in place and breach protocols are followed.
• Maintain a meticulous checklist of all regulatory data submissions and surveys to ensure zero-lapse reporting.
• Update all relevant company policies and ensure operational manuals are aligned with current legal requirements.

Risk Management & Credit Rating

• Collate data and prepare high-level presentations for the annual Credit rating analysis.
• Support the Risk Officer in the implementation and monitoring of the Enterprise Risk Management framework including Technological Risk Management.

Objective:

To provide comprehensive IT support services for III’s end-user experience, desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, and reporting, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The IT Helpdesk Support Engineer will deliver timely, high-quality service to maintain and enhance the overall IT experience for end users.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-User Experience & Desktop Support

• Provide first-line support to III’s employees for all IT-related issues, including software, hardware, and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring compliance with III’s IT standards.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setups, profile configurations, and deactivation of accounts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both in-person and remotely, focusing on minimizing downtime and disruptions to business operations.
• Offer project support and solutions to enhance user experience, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.

2. Basic Network Support

• Perform initial network troubleshooting (connectivity issues, VPN, Wi-Fi, etc.) and escalate unresolved problems to the network team.
• Collaborate with network administrators to ensure a stable and secure user environment.

3. Reporting and Documentation

• Log and manage helpdesk tickets efficiently in the ticketing system, tracking status, resolution times, and user satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports on helpdesk activities, common issues, resolution times, and trends to the User Experience Lead.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of procedures, resolutions, and frequently asked questions for both users and the support team.

4. Service Level Expectations

• Respond to user requests promptly, aiming for first-time resolution where possible.
• Prioritize and escalate issues according to defined service levels and criticality of business impact.
• Ensure high availability and excellent customer service to all III’s employees, fostering a positive user experience.

5. Overtime, Public Holidays, and Weekends

• If required to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays, the engineer must seek prior approval from the User Experience Lead.

Reporting Line:

The IT Helpdesk Support Engineer will report to the User Experience Lead, aligning with organizational objectives and enhancing end-user satisfaction.

Customer Focus:

The engineer will maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions, emphasizing proactive communication, empathy, and efficient problem resolution to meet user needs and exceed expectations.
