Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations
Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements for sewer works
Carryout site setting out, including alignment, levels, and gradients for pipelines and manholes
Supervise construction activities such as excavation, pipe laying, jointing, manhole construction, and backfilling
Ensure all works are performed in compliance with safety regulations, particularly for deep excavations and confined space operations
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and relevant authorities on site activities
Monitor project progress and report on daily activities, delays, and issues to management
Conduct quality inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards
Arrange and oversee testing and commissioning activities (e.g., leakage tests, CCTV inspections)
Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings
Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants on project progress
Ensure all testing, monitoring, and inspections comply with project and contractual requirements
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum1–3 years of relevant site experience
Experience in site supervision, with specific experience in sewer works.
6 days work week
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple parties.
