Overview

We are looking for a creative and versatile Marketing & Design Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role combines graphic design, content creation, and website management to strengthen our brand presence and support marketing activities worldwide. The successful candidate will design impactful visuals, develop engaging technical content, and maintain digital platforms that communicate our value to global audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Create product brochures, datasheets, catalogues, packaging, and internal branding materials.
• Design exhibition booth graphics and visual assets to support global trade shows (e.g., Electronica, Nepcon, DesignCon).
• Produce visuals for digital campaigns, websites, newsletters, and social media posts.

Marketing Content Creation

• Develop technical marketing content such as application stories, case studies, white papers, and product announcements.
• Write content for blogs, newsletters, LinkedIn, WeChat, and corporate websites.
• Produce video explainers, animations, and product demos for connectors and electronic solutions.
• Localize and adapt content for regional markets (APAC).

Website Management

• Maintain and update company website content, including product pages, banners, news, and resources.
• Ensure website visuals, copy, and technical documents are accurate and aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate with IT or external developers on layout, functionality, or technical enhancements.
• Monitor website performance and propose improvements for user experience.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with sales, product management, and global marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and visuals.
• Support regional offices with tailored marketing assets and localized materials.
• Liaise with external vendors, printers, and creative partners when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) or equivalent design tools.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging content.
• Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) and basic HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media management.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with video editing or motion graphics.
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, or paid ad management.
• Photography skills for in-house content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert on Harwin's connector product range.
• Support customers in design-in activities, including connector selection, compatibility assessments, and technical feasibility.
• Ability to understand a customer’s needs and probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer
• Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to deliver customized connector solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Conduct product training, technical workshops, and on-site support across Asia-Pacific.
• Respond to customer technical enquiries and coordinate with the UK engineering team for complex issues.
• Provide feedback on market needs and technical trends to assist in product roadmap development.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and documentation.
• Attend industry trade shows and customer visits to promote Harwin’s capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored recommendations
• Work closely with suppliers to gain in-depth knowledge of their product portfolios and technological advantages.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and share this knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or field application engineering role, preferably in the electronics or technology industry
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Process with own car, mobility to travel to customer sites
• Willingness to travel regional to support overseas team and customers.
