Job Description:
Grey & Sanders is on the hunt for a proactive and resourceful individual to join our dynamic team! As a Operations & Warehouse Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our operations team and have the opportunity to make a real impact through meaningful collaborations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to ensure accurate and timely stock movement
- Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions when required.
- Process and coordinate stock transfers, returns, and other inventory movements.
- Support and continuously improve inventory control procedures, warehouse processes, and operational workflows.
- Manage inventory labelling, location allocation, and warehouse organization to ensure efficient stock retrieval and storage.
- Coordinate and participate in periodic stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring reconciliation between physical inventory and system records.
- Conduct routine quality checks on inventory and identify damaged, defective, or non-conforming items.
- Assist in resolving inventory, warehouse, and delivery-related issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with warehouses, logistics providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational coordination.
- Any ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time as assigned by your manager
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; relevant experience will also be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.
- The role may require occasional lifting, moving, and inspection of furniture and inventory items within the warehouse environment.
Work Location & Schedule:
5 day work week: Mon-Fri, 9:00am - 6:00pm
The successful candidate will be based primarily at our showroom office in Outram and will be required to conduct regular visits to our warehouse and other operational sites such as delivery venues in order to support business operations.
