Interior Designer cum Assistant Project Manager (APM)
Job Summary
Support interior design projects by preparing design concepts, drawings, and material selections. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project quality, progress, and timelines. Assist in project planning, site supervision, and manage submissions and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, and select appropriate materials to meet project requirements
- Coordinate communication and collaboration with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to align project goals
- Assist in planning project schedules and supervise site activities to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines to deliver projects on schedule
- Manage submission of documents, obtain necessary approvals, and maintain accurate project documentation
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 0–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds MAX and MS Office applications for design and project management
- Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of Singapore regulations related to interior design and construction
