Job Responsibilities:
1. Inbound & Outbound Logistics
· Plan and coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules.
· Manage outbound logistics, including finished goods delivery to customers.
· Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with freight carriers (air, ocean, ground, rail)and freight forwarders.
· Optimize transportation routes, modes, and consolidation to minimize costs.
2. Store & Inventory Management
· Oversee Store operations (receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping) to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
· Implement and maintain inventory control systems (e.g., cycle counting, ABC analysis, FIFO/FEFO) to achieve high inventory accuracy (≥98%).
· Manage warehouse layout, racking, and material flow to maximize space utilization and reduce handling time.
· Collaborate with production planning to ensure just-in-time (JIT) or kitting operations run smoothly.
3. Systems & Data Management
· Lead the use and continuous improvement of ERP Microsoft Dynamics for logistics transactions.
· Drive root cause analysis for logistics disruptions and implement corrective actions.
4. Team Leadership
· Recruit, train, and supervise logistics supervisors, store staff, material handlers, and drivers.
· Set performance targets, conduct appraisals, and develop team skills in safety, systems, and process improvement.
5. Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement
· Ensure compliance with customs regulations, hazardous material handling (IMDG, IATA, ADR), and international trade laws (import/export documentation).
· Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in store and loading docks.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with procurement, production planning, sales, and customer service to align logistics with demand and production plans.
· Support new product introduction (NPI) by planning logistics requirements for packaging and storage.
Job Requirements:
Experience
· At least 3 years of progressive logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
· 2–4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Proven experience with ERP/WMS systems implementation or optimization.
· Experience with international logistics (customs clearance, incoterms, freight forwarding) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
· Deep knowledge of warehousing best practices (FIFO, cycle counting, slotting, automation).
· Proficiency in data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Soft Skills
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
· Clear communication and cross-functional leadership.
