Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take customer orders and provide assistance in choosing menu items.
• Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for every customer.

Food and Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
• Follow standardized recipes and preparation techniques to maintain quality and consistency.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

• Keep the work area, including the service counter and dining areas, clean and organized.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment, such as coffee machines and utensils.

Cash Handling

• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash registers and maintain proper change levels.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to address any concerns or challenges.

Training and Development

• Participate actively in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Seek feedback and be open to continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math skills for cash handling.

This isn’t just a desk job, you will blend HR analytics, creative event strategy, and AI automation to create an enjoyable employee experience. 

What You’ll Be Doing

1. People Ops & Payroll

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding new joins and insightful offboarding.
• Handle full-cycle payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records and leave tracking.
• Act as the point of contact for health insurance, wellness programs, and company perks.
• Keep our operations airtight by staying ahead of Singapore’s labor regulations (MOM/TAFEP).

2. Events & Culture (The "Not Desk-Bound" Part)

• Lead the logistics for company retreats, external workshops, and offsite events.
• Plan and execute monthly team-building activities, festive celebrations, and town halls.
• Curate strategic events designed to improve collaboration and boost company culture metrics.
• Showcase our story through social media to attract top talent.

3. Business Operations & Innovation

• Ensure the workspace is functional, stocked, and inviting for everyone.
• Implement AI-driven tools and automation to eliminate manual work and optimise workflows.
• Identify and apply for government grants (WSG, ESG, SkillsFuture) to support team growth.
• Analyse "People Dashboards" to advise leadership on talent strategy and headcount growth.

Requirements

• A blend of data-driven HR analytics and creative event strategy. 
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and payroll compliance (Willing to learn)
