Reporting to the Head of Commerical and Brand, you’ll own the execution of On’s marketing strategy in the region — blending global brand direction with local cultural impact. Areas of Responsibilities

• Localize and roll out On’s global campaigns across retail, wholesale, and community channels.

Primary Responsibility

As the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will lead the overall visual merchandising strategy and execution across retail locations, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and commercially effective customer experience.

This role goes beyond visual presentation—it is about translating brand identity into compelling retail experiences that drive sales performance and customer engagement. Leveraging sales data, inventory insights, customer behaviour, and brand guidelines, you will ensure strong visual execution across all retail touchpoints.

You will be both a strategic leader and hands-on executor, balancing creativity with commercial objectives while ensuring brand consistency across multiple locations and markets.

Areas of Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies and window displays that align with brand objectives while driving sales performance through data-driven insights.
• Create compelling in-store presentations that enhance product visibility, customer engagement, and overall shopping experience.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently executed across all retail locations.
• Regularly review and refresh store layouts and displays to maximise commercial opportunities and improve customer flow.

New Store Openings & Expansion Support

• Plan and support visual merchandising rollouts for new store openings, including pre-opening planning, store set-up, merchandising installation, and launch execution.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure visual standards are established and maintained from store opening onwards.
• Support seasonal updates, renovations, relocations, and special retail projects as required.

Commercial & Sales Performance

• Analyse sales trends, customer traffic, inventory levels, and product performance to develop effective merchandising strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve sell-through rates through strategic product placement and presentation.
• Ensure visual merchandising decisions support key business objectives and commercial targets.

Customer Experience & Brand Storytelling

• Curate engaging and customer-centric displays that effectively communicate brand stories, campaigns, and product features.

Campaign& Seasonal Rollouts

On is redefining performance running and premium sportswear — and we’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to support our growing presence across Singapore and Malaysia. This role works closely with the Marketing Manager (based in Singapore) to execute campaigns, activations, and brand initiatives across both markets, ensuring strong local relevance and seamless execution.

You will play a hands-on, execution-focused role, bringing On’s brand energy to life across retail touchpoints, community initiatives, events, and digital platforms in Singapore and Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities

Campaign & Execution Support

• Support the rollout of regional and market-specific marketing campaigns across Singapore and Malaysia.

• Execute marketing initiatives for retail stores, pop-ups, and wholesale partners in both markets.

• Ensure all marketing materials (in-store, digital, events) align with On’s global brand guidelines and regional direction.

Retail & Activation Support

• Support in-store activations, product launches, and seasonal campaigns across Singapore and Malaysia.

• Coordinate closely with store teams to ensure strong visual execution and brand storytelling.

• Assist in planning and setting up events such as run clubs, community sessions, and brand activations.

Community & Partnerships

• Support engagement with local running communities, studios, and partners in both markets.

• Assist in managing influencers / KOLs for local collaborations and seeding activities.

• Help build and strengthen On’s presence within the sports, wellness, and lifestyle scene in Singapore and Malaysia.

Content & Digital

• Support social media content creation, including local content, stories, and event coverage.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand, events, retail marketing, or communications.

• Experience in sportswear, fashion, lifestyle, retail, or youth-focused brands is a strong advantage.

• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable being on the ground for events and activations across Singapore and Malaysia.

• Strong coordination skills with high attention to detail.

• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a Singapore-based manager.

• Comfortable with social media, basic content creation, and on-site execution.

• Passion for sports, wellness, community, or fashion is a plus.

• Willingness to travel between Singapore and Malaysia when required.

Role Purpose

The General Manager (GM) is appointed as the Principal Operating Leader, reporting to the CEO, with full accountability for the day-to-day retail operations and business excellence of a multi-brand, multi-store retail portfolio across Singapore and Malaysia.

The portfolio includes established and emerging brands such as Candylicious, Hershey’s, Carnival, Scoop Wholefoods, On, Alo, Subdued, and other new brands that may be launched in the future.

The role carries end-to-end responsibility for execution excellence, operational readiness, people leadership, financial performance, and continuous improvement, ensuring consistent delivery of brand and company standards across all locations.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role requiring strong on-ground presence, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to build scalable, disciplined operations.

Reporting & Governance

• Reports directly to the CEO

• Acts as the operational leader across the retail portfolio

• Brand and Commercial functions report separately; the GM partners closely with these teams to ensure execution alignment

• Works closely with respective brand teams to deliver new store set-up and opening execution
  

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Execution & Business Excellence

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for retail operations and business excellence across all brands, stores, and markets

• Translate established business, brand, and commercial strategies into disciplined execution plans

• Drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability

• Establish clear operating rhythms, performance reviews, and execution cadence

2. Multi-Brand Retail Operations (Singapore & Malaysia)

• Lead end-to-end retail operations across multiple brands, store formats, and concepts

• Ensure disciplined execution of VM standards and brand guidelines as defined for each brand

• Partner with Brand and Commercial teams to deliver flawless execution of GTM initiatives, campaigns, and product launches

• Ensure operational readiness and in-store excellence during peak trading and launch periods

4. New Store Set-Up & Opening Execution

• Take end-to-end responsibility for new store set-up and opening execution across the portfolio

• Work closely with respective brand teams to ensure store design intent, VM standards, and brand DNA are delivered accurately

• Own project planning, timelines, and cross-functional coordination for store openings

• Ensure readiness across staffing, training, systems, inventory, and operations

• Deliver store openings on time, on budget, and to defined brand and operational standards

• Own post-opening stabilisation and early performance ramp-up

5. Sales Performance & Financial Accountability

• Drive sales growth, productivity, and profitability across brands and countries

• Own store-level KPIs including conversion, ATV, UPT, labour productivity, shrinkage, and cost control

• Manage operational budgets within approved frameworks

• Partner with finance on forecasting, performance reviews, and corrective actions

• Apply strong business acumen to identify opportunities and address underperformance early

6. People Leadership & Culture

• Lead, coach, and develop operational and retail leadership teams across the portfolio

• Build a high-performance, ownership-driven culture aligned with company values

• Ensure teams deeply understand and deliver against each brand’s DNA, standards, and customer promise

• Drive talent development, succession planning, and retention in partnership with HR

• Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, controls, and operating frameworks
