Work location: Central
Working hours: 5.5 days work week - Monday to Friday and half Sat, office hours
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls. Manage patient enquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Assist the doctor during consultations and clinic procedures.
- Scrub in with the doctor to Operating Theatre when required.
- Arrange radiology exams, laboratory tests, and other investigations; track reports for follow-up visits.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding ordered tests and procedures.
- Coordinate surgical bookings, including operation theatre, ward admission, anaesthetists, frozen section services, and other required arrangements.
- Conduct financial counselling for patients undergoing procedures and surgeries by giving estimated fee breakdowns.
- Liaise with insurance companies to raise pre-authorisations and Letters of Guarantee.
- Maintain consistent communication with patients undergoing treatment, offering guidance and support.
Administrative & Operational Management
- Register and bill patient visits accurately.
- Submit outpatient claims through TPA portals.
- Manage clinic inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for purchasing, maintenance, and service support.
Key Requirements:
- Min. Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Min. 2-3 years’ experience as a Staff Nurse following a Doctor in clinical settings
- Must be a Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- BCLS & AED Certified
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Caring and compassionate nature
