We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Automation Manager to lead our engineering team and drive the successful delivery of industrial automation and control system projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions across various industries.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from concept design and system integration to commissioning and handover—while ensuring profitability, technical excellence, and client satisfaction.
Project Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of automation projects, including system design, software development, hardware integration, testing, and commissioning.
Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on the selection and programming of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and motion control systems. Review technical specifications, control philosophies, and design deliverables.
Systems Integration: Oversee the integration of diverse automation components and ensure seamless communication between devices using industry-standard protocols.
Client Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring successful project handover.
Project Controls: Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and cost parameters.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality management systems.
Business Support: Collaborate with the sales and management teams during the bidding and proposal phase, providing technical input, effort estimation, and solution design.
