Job Summary:

The QAQC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and coordinating with site teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) on site
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings specifications, and codes
• Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and method statements
• Conduct material and workmanship inspections

Site Inspection & Monitoring

• Perform daily site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate inspections with consultants clients, and subcontractors
• Ensure proper testing and inspection records are maintained

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QAQC documentation such as inspection reports, test reports and material approvals
• Prepare quality reports and submit to management
• Ensure all records are properly filed for audit purposes

Coordination & Compliance

• Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Support internal and external quality audits

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in QAQC
• Knowledge of construction standards, drawings, and specifications
• Familiar with QAQC procedures
• Good communication and coordination skills

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support both pre-contract (tendering) and cost estimation activities. This role involves conducting site surveys, preparing quantity take-offs, supporting technical and commercial proposal preparation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate tender submissions and cost estimates.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Manager and project team to ensure competitive pricing, well-prepared tender documentation, and smooth coordination during the tendering and project planning stages.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Proposal Preparation

• Conduct site surveys and field measurements
• Prepare quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial tender documents
• Review tender specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
• Prepare basic layouts and drawing mark-ups for tender submissions

Cost Estimation & Planning

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, manpower, and equipment
• Support pricing calculations and costing analysis for tender submissions
• Develop resource histograms for manpower and equipment planning
• Assist in preparing preliminary project schedules
• Support preparation of method statements and technical proposal documentation

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, procurement, and project teams
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations when required
• Maintain proper documentation and records for tenders and project proposals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pharmaceutical, process plant, or industrial projects
• Exposure to EPC / EPCM project environments
• Understanding of construction sequencing and site installation practices
• Familiarity with piping systems, mechanical works, or process engineering

Required Skills

• Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines
