1. Project & Site Management
- Schedule Control: Plan, schedule, and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure construction meets specific milestones and avoids delays.
- Resource Allocation: Manage site labor forces, equipment, and material deliveries to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
- Technical Compliance: Review architectural and engineering drawings and conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and client expectations.
2. Safety & Risk Management (WSH)
- Regulatory Adherence: Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations according to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential hazards, conduct safety audits, and respond quickly to technical difficulties or site emergencies.
- Modern Integration: Implement advanced site safety measures, such as geofencing to track worker movement, as promoted by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
3. Quality Control
- Building Standards: Monitor the quality of construction to ensure full compliance with Building Control Regulations.
- Defect Management: Conduct site inspections and oversee quality management systems to meet required structural and finishing standards.
4. Cost Control & Administration
- Budget Tracking: Manage project expenditures, negotiate costs with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Reporting: Prepare progress reports, tenders, and contract bids to track costs and communicate updates to senior management and clients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation regarding changes in specifications, scope, and drawings.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaison: Coordinate with government and statutory authorities, consultants, suppliers, and developers.
- Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople.
6. Productivity & Innovation
- Adopting Tech: Leverage modern construction methods promoted locally, such as Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) and construction automation, to boost productivity
