Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting all technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies creatively.
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
• Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
• Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
• Able to raise technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors.
• Familiar with civil engineering drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies between drawings in relation to site conditions during project execution.
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection to ensure that the works were executed to contract drawings and requirements.
• Carry out duties in accordance with workplace safety programs, procedures, and policies.
• Act as a point of contact and facilitate between Tenders and External Consultants.
• Be accountable for preparing technical proposals for tenders, including master programs, method statements, resources allocation charts, traffic/utilities diversion plans, risks identification & mitigation plans, etc., as per tender requirements.

Logistics and Warehouse Management Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

IT and Innovation

• We are looking into the create some automation of various projects
• We need integrate various form, excel, data sheet, invoices etc. to the online platforms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Engineering or related field of construction and IT innovation.
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages.
• Ability to plan and see the "big picture".
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Decision-making ability and attention to detail.
• Working Hours: 9am – 6pm
• Working Days – 6 days

Roles & Responsibilities

• Will be accompanied by Driver Attendant on route if loose Cargos.
• Strictly adhere to regulations and safety standards
• Must have Construction site / Airport & KD experience
• Must follow common safety regulations at Plant & site
• Able to work at any location and shift include night shift
• Duties as assigned by managers or supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Possess valid and clean commercial driving license (Class 4 or 5)
• Accident Free Record
• Must have the WSQ Operate lorry crane
• Must have work at height for supervisors
• Must have construction superviosr course
• Minimum 8 Years and above Experience in related
• Given the nature of the role, you should be prepared to work variable hours, which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as and when required
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Familiar with Singapore roads and navigate with maps
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
• The drivers are not allowed to drive the lorry back home.
• Working day – Monday to Saturday

Job Responsibility:

• Manage the transmission of documents and drawings to the client and sub-contractors
• Prepare method of statement and work procedure
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with method of statement
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update progress of work
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and all government and safety regulation are compiled
• Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation
• Manage procurement of resources, monitor and control material usage on site to avoid unnecessary wastage
• Prepare monthly progress report with progress photographs
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree Holder in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• Familiar with the design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in construction industry
• Self-motivated and independent with interpersonal skill
