Drafter cum Engineer Assistant

Job Summary

Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop compliant, accurate designs. Manage revisions and assist with documentation to support engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce precise 2D technical drawings and 3D structural models for engineering projects
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate design concepts into detailed, actionable layouts
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications to maintain quality and regulatory adherence
• Incorporate feedback from field changes and consultant input to revise and update design drawings accurately
• Assist engineers by preparing documentation, reports, and submissions for regulatory authorities to support project approvals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Expert proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit to efficiently produce technical drawings
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques to inform accurate design development
• Strong attention to detail to create precise documentation that minimizes errors during construction or production
• Diploma, associate degree, or certificate in drafting, engineering design, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in drafting or engineering design

Job Description

• Lead and manage full spectrum of HR functions including strategic Human Resources development, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, process and compliance, handle of Grievances and Exit procedures
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to support project growth
• Responsible for planning & implementation of HR projects or initiatives
• Lead, organize, maintain and develop HR policies

Job Requirements

• Candidate with at least 2 years construction HR working experience.
• Degree in any qualifications
• Able to start work immediately or with short notice will be added advantage
• Has knowledge to use payroll software such as Whyze
• Willing to work in Construction Site
• Independent, good communication skills, able to work well under pressure

Job Description:

- Manage and prepare the measurements and cost estimates for the construction projects from initial calculations to the final accounts.

- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

- Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.

- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects and tender submissions

- Review and study C&S, Archi, and M&E drawings

- Prepare contract documents in accordance to the regulations.

- Prepare cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure the objectives of the project is achieved.

- Access payment and variation works to client and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.

- Communicate with the client, management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of both main contract and sub-contract.

- Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.

- Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems and procedures.

- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

- Acquired with both civils and architectural knowledges is preferable.

- Good communication and negotiation skills.

- Experience in Building project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.

a. Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in projects SLURRY TBM OR NATM.

b. Possess a diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent and be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

c. Must be accredited as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) (Tunnel) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.

d. To fulfil working hours of fifty-six (56) hours/week

e. Must be willing to work shifts

Job Description & Requirements:

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review Contractor's design and supervise all works
