The Role

In this role, you will own user-facing features end-to-end — with a primary focus on the frontend and the ability to drop into the backend when a feature requires it. You'll design and build the interfaces that make sophisticated wealth management feel effortless, while leveraging AI coding agents and modern tooling to iterate faster and ship higher-craft work than a traditional frontend team.

You'll partner closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver polished, trustworthy experiences for Arta's customers — and you'll own enough of the stack to ship a full slice when needed.

What You Will Do

• Build elegant, responsive, accessible web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks — this is the core of your work

• Translate Figma designs and product specs into production-quality UI, with strong attention to motion, interaction, and detail

• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, v0, Cursor, etc.) as a core part of your workflow — for prototyping, iterating on UI, generating component variants, and accelerating delivery

• Prototype quickly to explore design directions and pressure-test ideas before committing to production builds

• Build agent- and LLM-powered UI patterns (conversational interfaces, AI-assisted flows, intelligent forms) that thoughtfully bring AI into the user experience

• Own the frontend craft bar: performance, accessibility, design system consistency, and cross-browser/device quality

• Contribute to backend APIs, data models, and service code when a feature requires it — owning the full slice end-to-end

• Partner with backend engineers on API design from the consumer's perspective

• Contribute to the design system and reusable component libraries

• Investigate production issues and participate in incident response as needed

Who You Are

• At least 6 years of software engineering experience, with the majority focused on frontend — deep proficiency in React (or similar modern framework) and TypeScript

• Strong design sensibility — you care about typography, spacing, motion, and interaction quality, and can collaborate as a peer with designers

• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and modern CSS approaches (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, etc.)

• Comfortable working in the backend when needed — you can write production-quality API endpoints, data models, and service code in Python (or similar), even if it isn't your primary craft

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and how frontend and backend systems fit together

• Fluency with AI coding tools and a track record of using them to ship higher-craft UI work faster

• Experience or strong interest in building AI-native UI patterns (chat, streaming, tool-use surfaces, agent UIs)

• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Prior experience in fintech, trading, or financial product UX is a big plus, but not a must

The Role

Arta Finance is building an AI-powered wealth platform that brings sophisticated investment capabilities and portfolio intelligence to modern financial institutions. Our platform enables banks, digital banks, and financial platforms to deliver institutional-grade investment products and portfolio insights to their clients through modern infrastructure and APIs.

We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented VP of Product Management to lead the evolution of Arta’s institutional wealth platform globally. This leader will define the long-term product vision and platform strategy for Arta’s B2B wealth infrastructure while driving execution across partner deployments, platform capabilities, and investment workflows.

This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background or who has been in the tech industry for a long time, and who enjoys working closely with technical teams to build scalable financial platforms.

You will own the strategy and execution of core platform capabilities used by Arta’s global institutional partners, reporting to the Singapore CEO, and partnering closely with VP of Engineering and the Chief of Staff to define the roadmap and drive execution.

What You Will Do

Own the B2B Wealth Platform Roadmap

• Define the strategic direction for Arta’s institutional wealth platform and partner ecosystem, balancing long-term platform vision with near-term partner and market needs

• Identify emerging opportunities in wealth infrastructure, AI-enabled advisory, and institutional investing to shape Arta’s next generation platform capabilities

• Build scalable capabilities that power investment products, portfolio analytics, and advisor tools.
  Ensure the platform can support multiple partners through modular APIs and services.

Translate Complex Investment Workflows Into Software

• Design systems supporting workflows such as:

  • portfolio construction and analytics

  • investment product distribution

  • portfolio reporting and performance tracking

  • trading and order workflows

  • advisor and client dashboards

• Work closely with engineering and UI/UX teams to design scalable, reliable platform architecture.

Build Developer-Friendly Platform Capabilities

• Lead the development of API-driven infrastructure used by partner institutions.

• Ensure Arta’s platform can integrate easily with partner systems such as digital banking apps, core banking systems, and wealth platforms.

Partner Closely With Engineering and AI Teams

• Collaborate with engineers and AI researchers to design and ship complex technical products.

• Translate business and partner needs into clear product specifications.

• Provide strategic product leadership in architectural and platform design decisions, ensuring technical investments align with long-term business, scalability, and partner objectives.

Work With Institutional Partners

• Serve as a senior product leader and strategic counterpart to institutional partners, helping shape joint platform initiatives, integration strategies, and long-term product evolution.

• Balance partner customization with the long-term scalability of the platform.

Drive Product Execution

• Drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, design, AI, and business teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities and institutional deployments.

• Define success metrics and continuously improve platform performance and capabilities.
  

Who You Are

Product Leader

• 20+ years of experience across engineering, product management, and platform leadership roles, with demonstrated ownership of large-scale financial or technology platforms.

• Proven ability to define product vision, influence executive stakeholders, and lead organizations through complex platform evolution.

• Experience working with UI/UX teams and converting complex workflows into intuitive products

• Comfortable working deeply with engineering teams on architecture, APIs, and platform design.

• Ability to lead through influence across engineering, AI, operations, and partner teams

• Experience building product operating models and execution frameworks in high-growth environments

• Strong strategic judgment combined with willingness to dive into details when needed

Fintech or Wealth Platform Experience

• Strong domain knowledge in wealth management, investment platforms, or financial infrastructure is a plus.

• Experience building products such as:

In this role, you will design and build the backend systems and infrastructure that power Arta's mission-critical financial services. You'll own services end-to-end, from API design to data models to production reliability, while working extensively with AI coding agents and LLM-based tooling to ship faster and operate at higher leverage than a traditional backend team.

You'll collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and ML engineers to deliver resilient backend services that handle real money, real data, and real users.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power Arta's investment and wealth management platform

• Make architectural decisions on system design, data modeling, service boundaries, and infrastructure

• Write clean, well-tested, observable code, and use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) as a core part of your daily workflow to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality

• Build and integrate LLM and agent-powered backend capabilities where they unlock product value (e.g., automated workflows, intelligent data processing, agent-driven user experiences)

• Optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed services

• Integrate with third-party financial APIs, brokerage systems, market data providers, and cloud infrastructure

• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting (Sentry, Datadog, etc.) and participate in on-call and incident response

• Drive engineering best practices around code review, testing, and evaluation, including evals for any AI/agent-driven systems you ship

• Partner with product and design to translate ambiguous problems into well-scoped backend solutions

Who You Are

• At least 6 years of backend software development experience, with strong proficiency in Python (or similar)

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, RESTful and/or gRPC APIs, microservices, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL)

• Experience designing for reliability, performance, and security in production environments

• Fluency with AI coding tools and a track record of using them to materially raise your output and code quality

• Experience building with LLMs and/or agent frameworks (tool use, function calling, MCP, evals) or strong interest and aptitude to ramp up quickly

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Prior experience in trading platforms, brokerage systems, or financial infrastructure is a big plus, but not a must
