The Senior IT Executive (Infrastructure) is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualisation platforms, networking, backup environments, and cybersecurity controls.

The role ensures the reliability, security, and availability of IT systems that support both clinical and operational services across multiple nursing home sites. The position will also support infrastructure improvement initiatives and contribute to the organisation’s gradual adoption of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, virtualisation platforms, and core infrastructure systems.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure stable operations across all sites.

• Perform system administration tasks including patch management, updates, and preventive maintenance.

• Support infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh cycles, and capacity planning.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure systems, tools, and technologies.

Cloud & Infrastructure Modernisation

• Support infrastructure modernisation initiatives and evaluation of future cloud adoption for selected systems.

• Assist in planning and implementation of hybrid infrastructure solutions integrating on-premise systems with cloud platforms where applicable.

 Backup, Security & Monitoring

• Manage backup operations and support disaster recovery planning and testing.

• Investigate and resolve infrastructure alerts and incidents.

• Support implementation of cybersecurity controls including system patching and vulnerability remediation.

Projects & Governance

• Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and technology refresh projects.

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and governance practices.

• Support IT initiatives aligned with the organisation’s digital transformation roadmap.
  

  Requirements

  Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

  Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration roles.

  • Candidates should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments including servers, virtualisation platforms, and backup systems.

  Technical Skills

  • Windows Server administration

  • Active Directory and identity management

  • Virtualisation platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)

  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions

  • Infrastructure monitoring tools

  • Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN)

  Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms, including exposure to cloud migration or implementation projects.

  • Understanding of hybrid infrastructure concepts and cloud security practices.

  • Exposure to cybersecurity practices or infrastructure security controls.

  • Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments will be an advantage.

Job Description

• Performance clinical duties such as

- Medication management and medication packing;

- Post-surgical wound management;

- Insertion of nasogastric tube;

- Care of Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tube and dressing;

- Wound management (Stage I to Stage IV wounds711);

- Urinary catheter care and change of female urinary catheters;

- Tracheostomy care and dressing;

- Stoma care – colostomy and ileostomy care;

- Care of nephrostomy tube and dressing;

- Assistance with bowel elimination (e.g. enema or insertion of suppositories, as ordered by a physician; and

- Post-procedural medication administration, as ordered by medical personnel (Only applicable for clients who are not already enrolled in the centre’s day care programmes and are living alone or unable to take medication on their own.)

Job Requirement

• Minimum a Diploma in nursing.
• Registered nurse with SNB.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
