The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, handling, and distribution of thermoplastic pipes & fittings. This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper storage conditions, and timely issuance of goods to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify goods against delivery orders
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items for easy identification and retrieval
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements by informing office staff to update in system.
Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies
Pick, pack, and issue items according to sales orders or internal requests
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits
Handle returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies with suppliers
Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations
Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
1-2 year experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a hardware, construction, or industrial supply environment
Familiarity with hardware items and tools is an advantage
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Capable of performing physical tasks to handle heavy items when required
