Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Field Operation leads service delivery across semiconductor fabs, ensuring high tool uptime, KPI performance, and customer satisfaction. The role oversees complex issue resolution, manages escalations, and collaborates with HQ and global teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end field service operations for CVD products across multiple fabs to achieve high tool uptime and service excellence
- Own and monitor service performance KPIs including uptime, MTTR, MTBF, response time, and customer satisfaction (CSAT) to drive operational effectiveness
- Provide strategic direction to resolve complex technical issues and manage escalation processes efficiently
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with headquarters, engineering, and global support teams to optimize service delivery
- Manage senior customer relationships and lead resolution of critical escalations with fab stakeholders to maintain trust and satisfaction
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, uptime, and cost efficiency
- Oversee predictive maintenance programs and implement data-driven failure analysis strategies to prevent downtime
- Govern a portfolio of service projects and key customer accounts to ensure timely and quality execution
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing field service teams and succession pipelines to sustain operational excellence
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and fab operational standards to uphold quality and safety
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by management to support organizational goals
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in process development focused on CVD equipment.
- Strong knowledge of thin-film deposition, vacuum systems, and semiconductor manufacturing practices.
- Proven track record in process optimization, yield enhancement, and equipment troubleshooting.
