Join our team to deliver innovative security projects, gain hands-on experience, and grow through guided training.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdown service calls for installed Security/ELV systems.
Execute addition and alteration (A&A) and site installation work for security equipment.
Provide technical and engineering support to ensure system functionality and project progress.
Maintain and troubleshoot installed security systems to resolve issues promptly.
Prepare and submit accurate documents, reports, and email correspondence related to projects.
Coordinate site access, permits, manpower scheduling, and material delivery to support project timelines.
Follow up on project issues, variations, defects, and site instructions to ensure compliance and quality.
Perform testing, termination, and commissioning of security systems including CCTV, access control, intercom, and carpark barrier systems.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site to minimize downtime.
Supervise subcontractors’ installation work, ensuring quality and adherence to site requirements.
Oversee containment works such as trunking, conduit, and tray installation to verify subcontractor compliance.
Conduct simple device configuration with provided training to support system setup.
Enforce safety standards and proper work practices on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team and project needs.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Basic technical background with Nitec or Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related fields preferred.
Hands-on experience with tools, basic wiring, and ELV systems is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for preparing reports and email communication.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with site teams, main contractors, and consultants.
Responsible and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
