Job Description

As a Senior / Staff Nurse on secondment to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), you will play a vital role in emergency medical dispatch operations at the SCDF Operations Centre. Your responsibilities include providing timely and appropriate life-saving advice during emergency calls, such as telephone-assisted CPR, as well as preparing and conducting medical awareness training for non-medical dispatchers. You will support quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts through the auditing of call audiotapes and the collection of call data, contribute to the review and enhancement of medical dispatch protocols, and participate in research initiatives related to emergency medical dispatch. You will also provide secondary operational support in handling emergency calls under a 12-hour rotating shift system.

Job requirement

• Degree or Diploma qualification in Nursing recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board

• Have a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents in a timely manner
• Source and monitor relevant tender opportunities in GeBIZ
• Liaise with internal departments to gather required information for submissions
• Ensure all tender documents comply with requirements and company standards
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all tenders submitted
• Conduct cost estimation and pricing analysis for tenders
• Follow up on tender results and maintain good client relationships
• Assist in contract administration and documentation when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in tendering (experience in cleaning industry is an advantage)
• Familiar with GeBIZ system and tender submission process in Singapore
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of costing and budgeting
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Independent and proactive working attitude
