About the role

About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Admin Assistant/General Clerk to join our team at Euro Code Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor. This full-time position will provide vital administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

What you'll be doing Performing general office duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and organising documents Handling incoming phone calls, emails and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner Maintaining and updating office records, databases and filing systems Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations and other documents Providing support to the management team as required Ordering and maintaining office supplies Supporting other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

1. Prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities through various channels

Key Responsibilities

• Invoicing & Payments: Processing vendor invoices, tracking payments, and managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Data Entry & Accuracy: Updating financial records and accounting systems with high accuracy.
• Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and daily financial transactions.
• Support Roles: Assisting with payroll processing, tax form preparation, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
• Communication: Responding to vendor, client, or internal inquiries regarding billing and payment issues.
• Reporting: Preparing basic cash flow reports and financial data for management.

Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma in Accounts or Admin or relevant field
• Knowledge of SQL system & office management systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
• Excel in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage all housekeeping staff including room attendants, laundry personnel, and supervisors
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and uniforms
• Coordinate with front office and maintenance departments for smooth operations
• Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping
• Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Oversee pest control and hygiene programs
• Maintain lost-and-found records and procedures

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field
• 8–10 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in luxury or large-scale hotel operations is a plus
