JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Admissions

• To run Admissions operations for courses; which include admission procedures, system processes, applicant journey, and maintain accurate display of course information on the website, thereby contributing to enrolment targets and ensuring admission policies are adhered to.

• To provide accurate information to prospective students regarding course admissions and course progression options.

• To be committed in providing positive applicant experience, upholding service standards, professionally managing touchpoints and engagement with prospective students and the public, thereby upholding the image of NIEC.

• To ensure data integrity and confidentiality of applicant data records and academic records in the admissions system for effective decision making.

• To ensure relevant SOPs, templates, work processes are up to date as per the directions set by the Academic Affairs division.

• To work closely with government agencies e.g. ECDA, MOE, WSG/SSG where relevant to support the early childhood sector manpower growth.

2.   Support Branding and Comms Team

• To provide staff support for outreach and publicity in terms of participating in events, course previews etc.

• To support in website content maintenance and updates to support prospects, applicants and students with application and enrolment guidance, ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience.
  

3. Others/Adhoc Projects

• To compile intake data and present findings and insights to management.

• To provide backup and assistance to colleagues in related administrative functions.

•  Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to, support NIEC-related activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. 

• Possess minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the education sector (or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training) (advantageous).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,Powerpoint) and database management.

• Knowledge or experience in using data analytics tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is an added advantage

• Ability to work well under tight timelines with minimum supervision.

• Meticulous and highly organised individual with attention to details to handle multiple processes and documentation.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with customer-centric mindset and a team player.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Beauty Spa Manager to join our Bukit Timah outlet at Beauty World Plaza on a full-time permanent basis. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will perform treatments, support daily outlet operations, assist the Branch Manager, and step up as outlet-in-charge when required. This role suits a confident, experienced therapist who is ready to take the next step into management while continuing to do what they love.

What You Will Do

• Perform facial and beauty treatments on customers professionally and with care
• Assist the Branch Manager in daily outlet operations including staff scheduling, inventory, and customer relations
• Act as outlet-in-charge in the Branch Manager's absence — managing staff, handling customer escalations, and ensuring smooth operations
• Advise customers on suitable treatments, packages, and skincare products
• Actively sell packages and products based on genuine customer needs
• Support and guide junior therapists on the job
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and service quality at all times
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily cash reporting

Salary & Commission

Commission earned on top of basic salary from Day 1

Realistic monthly take-home: $2,700 – $3,300 for a confirmed Assistant Manager on an average performing month.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 11:30am – 8:30pm
• Saturday: 11:00am – 8:00pm
• Sunday: Closed (except first Sunday of each month, 11:00am – 6:00pm — Off-In-Lieu given)
• Public Holidays: 11:00am – 6:00pm (Off-In-Lieu given)
• 6 working days per week

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a beauty therapist
• Qualification in beauty therapy — WSQ, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC or equivalent accepted
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred — able to guide and support junior staff
• Able to manage a full appointment book independently with no supervision
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships
• Confident in handling customer feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally
• Experience in selling packages and products confidently and professionally
• Reliable, punctual, professional in appearance and conduct
• Able to commit to the working schedule including Saturdays and selected Sundays and Public Holidays
