The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and safeguarding systems against cybersecurity threats. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, take ownership of IT matters, and provide strategic guidance while also handling operational tasks. The IT Manager will have one help desk resource reporting directly to them.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Operations & Support
• ⁠Oversee all IT systems, hardware, and software across the company.
• Manage end-user computing needs, including troubleshooting and support. • Supervise and mentor the helpdesk resource.
• Systems & Applications Administer and support Finance and HR software solutions.
• Ensure smooth integration and functionality of business applications.
• Identity & Access Management
• ⁠Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Implement best practices for identity management and data security.
• Cybersecurity
• ⁠Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct regular security audits and awareness training.
• Cloud & Collaboration Tools
• Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Optimize collaboration tools to improve productivity.
• Strategic IT Management
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to support business growth.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Preferred experience on the vendor side performing actual operational tasks rather than on user side managing outsourced vendors.
• Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
• Familiarity with Finance and HR software systems.
• Proficiency in identity access management and cybersecurity practices.
• Hands-on experience with networking, servers, and cloud-based solutions.

As an IT Executive, you will play a key role in driving the smooth operation of our technology landscape. From keeping our systems and infrastructure running seamlessly, to gathering requirements and testing new solutions, to supporting applications and training employees — you’ll be the go-to expert who ensures our people have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Job Responsibilities

• Purchase, install, configure, test, track and maintain IT Asset Inventory (eg. computers, networks, and other office/project site equipment)

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, document failures, repairs, and installations

• Coordinate IT aspects of onboarding/offboarding (accounts, equipment, VPN), implement system improvements, and support rollout of new hardware/software with training and user guides.

• Act as the primary contact for in-house application issues, perform root cause analysis, monitor performance, and manage support requests via the ticketing system to ensure timely resolution within SLAs.

• Assist in deploying application fixes, patches, and upgrades, escalating complex problems to developers or vendors when required.

• Develop and execute test cases (functional, integration, UAT) and perform thorough QA to ensure applications meet requirements and are deployment-ready.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field of study

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar IT or application support role

• Bilingual in both English and Mandarin to liaise with China counterparts and support a diverse user base

• Proven experience with application support, requirements gathering, and software testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

*The IT Executive will be required to travel to our multiple project sites (islandwide), as and when necessary.
