The Role

We are looking for a Network Services Engineer to support and deliver solutions within large-scale cloud and data centre environments. This role involves working on complex network infrastructure, supporting cloud-based services, and ensuring high availability and performance across mission-critical systems.

For more experienced candidates, there are opportunities to take on senior or lead responsibilities, including team leadership and project ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment and operations within cloud and data centre environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across large-scale network infrastructure
• Manage and support Software Defined Networking (SDN) and cloud networking services
• Work with technologies such as Azure VNet, ExpressRoute, DNS, DDoS protection, Traffic Manager, and Load Balancers
• Participate in on-call support for critical systems
• (For Lead role) Guide team members and drive technical delivery

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience for Engineer, 5 years for Senior/Lead roles
• Experience in large-scale data centre or cloud environments
• Strong foundation in networking concepts and infrastructure
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Technical Skills

• Scripting/Programming: Python, Java, Perl, Kusto
• Operating Systems: Linux
• Networking: SDN, VNet, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer
• Data Formats: JSON, XML
• Certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP are advantageous
• Exposure to network automation and security is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist the BD Director in managing program-related issues and correspondences.
• Coordinate and work with tool and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth program launches.
• Design workflows and optimize production layouts in collaboration with the production department to improve machine efficiency.
• Source and gather tooling and component quotations from suppliers for initial project startups.
• Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts.
• Support production and quality departments in troubleshooting processing and quality issues related to plastic parts.
• Monitor and track progress on program activities.
• Provide timely customer support and respond to customer inquiries.
• Update all tooling activities, bills of materials, and project review records.
• Follow up and track engineering changes for each tooling.
• Coordinate all mold trial activities.
• Design and collaborate with suppliers on jigs and fixtures required for secondary processes.
• Prepare periodic tool-life reports for customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of project management & production process
• Independent, good initiative and able to multitask in fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient software applications and systems that meet user requirements
• Support software enhancements, upgrades, and system configurations
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code in line with Software Quality Assurance standards
• Develop technical specifications and assess operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Maintain and document software functionality throughout the development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
• Automate processes using appropriate tools and scripting techniques
• Perform system validation, verification, and testing activities
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and external system integration testing
• Deploy applications and gather user feedback for continuous improvement
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and delivery plans

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript (FeathersJS is a plus)
• Exposure to DevOps practices is advantageous
• Hands-on approach with a strong passion for coding
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and programming languages
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication and documentation skills
