Job Description :
Manages the extended Team in Asia for TC
· Applies significant knowledge of the industry trends to improve our clients’ products
· Provides technical and managerial direction from design to implementation
· Recognizes easily system and process deficiencies and looks for the right solution
· Responsible for the swift, precise and Besi compliant execution of customer requests with his
local team a limited resources and is budget responsible
· Manage, train and coach local team to achieve best results
· Strong Synchronization with the back office in Europe, PM, TO and Project Management
have to be well informed
· Responsible together with Sales for the communication to the customer
· Responsible to achieve set milestones
· Review requests and features from customer together with CPM and make proposals to the PM TC
· Support Customer projects /evaluation /demo arrangement and successful completion together
with CPM
· Gather competitor info and distribute within the product line
· Participation in Customer Engineering and commercial meeting, follow up on actions
· Prepares answers for proposing relevant solutions
· Responsible that projects are as safe as possible from risks internal and external
· Being an ambassador for Besi
· Is driving and giving input to the lifecycle management of its product
· Knowledge of the implications of fab technologies into new packages to form and feed this into project teams
· Liaise with Semi society, academy through Seminar. Identify new materials, processes that have potential to enhance value
· Involved in new package/silicon/product brainstorming and interface with the IP generation group
Requirements :
Education
· Technical Background (BSc / MSc Engineering Science)
Work experience
· Min. 8 years within a technical support environment
· Preferable > 5 years in the product support and in handling customers or branch offices
· Min. 3 Years of Team management experience with multicultural setup
Expertise and methodology
· Knowledge of processes with a high number of interfaced factors of influence
· Excellent communication skills to transfer messages from and towards the customer
· Understanding for precision mechanics and for complex systems
· Understanding of factory automation and SW feature needs
· IT knowledge (Office, E-Mail)
· Good verbal and written English
· Ability to quickly build trustworthy relationships and networks with customers and thinking beyond the standard processes, in order to come up with innovative approaches
Other requirement criteria
· English on proficiency level / Interested in multicultural management
· No personal conflict of interest in the Semicon Industry of Asia
· Six sigma education
· Can do and hands on attitude
· Knowledge, experience and practice on ESG initiatives is an added advantage
