JOB DESCRIPTION

we are looking for an experienced individual with a background in SWIFT-related business domains (standards, payments and securities) and a strong technical knowledge in trading system to join our Reserves and Securities Management Team.  You will be responsible to provide in-depth expertise in SWIFT-related business/technical flows and provide oversight of SWIFT technical design and oversee the review of the SWIFT infrastructure architecture blue-prints with collaboration from MAS internal cross-functional IT and operations teams to ensure the architectural designs meet all there Requirements.

You will be the Point-of-Contact (POC) for the third party’s SWIFT technical team to review and provide guidance on the SWIFT infrastructure implementation planning and co-ordinate with MAS internal teams to ensure resource availability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services, in particular in a technical business lead role
• Extensive experience with banking operations, back-office business operations or back-office system integration knowledge
• Strong technical background, with good understanding of SWIFT’s products, services and applications, including SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Access, SWIFTNet, FIN messaging and ISO 20022 formats
• Strong knowledge of payments and securities messaging and their flows is a must
• Good understanding of SWIFT’s Customer Security Program (CSP) and the proposed controls by SWIFT 
• Identify and pull together the business process owners and the third-party SWIFT team to oversee the modelling of business process
• Review the process using BPM, and coordinating with the third-party SWIFT team to ensure the processes are automated processes, and adopted by business process owners
• Act as the primary contact with MAS functional team and translate the requirements to the third-party analyst and developers when necessary to automate processes
• Review and develop test cases to ensure the test coverage is comprehensive

• 10+ years of Software Engineer experience

• Proven expertise managing OpenShift (OCP) environments in enterprise scale production deployments.

• Hands on experience with infrastructure setup and sizing, performance tuning, and capacity assessment for AI workloads.

• Experience supporting Oracle Database from an application infrastructure perspective.

• Practical knowledge of certificate management, secrets management, and key handling.

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

• Strong background in security, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.

• Proven experience designing and implementing DR infrastructure for mission critical platforms.

• Experience working with AWS cloud services and hybrid cloud integrations.

• Strong coordination and leadership skills to work across Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Job Description & Requirements

•We are seeking an experienced AS400 Technical SME with deep expertise in IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) systems to lead design, development, modernization, and support of critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority, drive system improvements, and support business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AS400 / IBM i platform.

•Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and support teams.

•Define best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.

•Design, develop, and maintain applications using: RPG (RPG III / RPG IV / RPGLE / Free RPG) / CL / CLLE / DB2/400 (DB2 for i)

•Analyze business requirements and translate into technical solutions.

•Perform code reviews and ensure quality standards.

•Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

•Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

•Manage batch jobs, job scheduling, and system performance tuning.

•Lead modernization initiatives (e.g., RPG to Free-format RPG, API enablement).

•Integrate AS400 applications with modern systems using: REST APIs / Web Services / Middleware tools

•Support migration or transformation initiatives (cloud / hybrid setups).

•Work closely with business users, architects, and cross-functional teams.

•Participate in requirement discussions and solution design workshops.

Requirements

Technical Skills

•Hands-on experience in: RPG IV / RPGLE / Free RPG / CL Programming / DB2 for i (SQL, Query optimization)

•Experience with: IBM i (AS400 / iSeries) platform administration basics and Job control, journaling, and system utilities

•Knowledge of: APIs, Web Services, and integration patterns and Version control tools (e.g., Git)

Nice to have Skills

•Experience in AS400 modernization tools (e.g., ARCAD, Fresche)

•Exposure to DevOps practices on IBM i

•Familiarity with banking / finance domain (if applicable)

• 10+ years of experience in NICE Actimize SAM Transaction Monitoring – version 9 or 10
• Strong core Actimize development and implementation experience
• Control-M scheduling and batch run management
• Actimize batch framework, job orchestration, and monitoring
• AML / Transaction Monitoring domain knowledge
• SAM architecture understanding
• Unix/Linux, shell scripting
• SQL and database concepts (Oracle / SQL Server)
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting of Actimize systems
