REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a regional or fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR compliance practices
• Experience in payroll coordination and HR operations across multiple countries is an advantage
• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HRMS, ESS platforms)
• Experience in office or facilities management will be an added advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Thisrole is responsible for the end-to-end operational delivery of Japan employeebenefits and leave administration. The role requires hands-on, workingknowledge of Japanese benefits and leave frameworks, with minimal ramp‑up, to ensure continuity, compliance, andservice quality.

The Specialist acts as the operational owner for Japan Benefits and Leaves, partnering closely with Payroll, HR, Global Benefits/Leave COEs, and localvendors to deliver compliant, accurate, and employee‑centric outcomes.

1. Japan Benefits Operations (Core Accountability)

• Own day-to-day administration of Japan benefits, including:

o Social insurance enrollments and changes (health insurance, pension, employment insurance)

o Dependent enrollment, life events, eligibility changes

o Retirement and supplementary benefit programs (where applicable)

• Ensure timely and accurate submissions to vendors and authorities within statutory deadlines.

• Maintain data accuracy across HRIS and vendor systems; perform reconciliations where needed.

2. Japan Leave Administration & Knowledge

• Administer and support Japan leave programs, including:

o Statutory leaves (e.g., childcare leave, family care leave, sickness-related leave as applicable)

o Company-sponsored leave programs and policies

• Partner with Payroll to ensure correct pay treatment during leave periods.

• Handle complex or sensitive leave cases with accuracy and professionalism.

• Ensure leave processes align with Japanese labor law requirements and internal policies.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all benefits and leave activities comply with Japanese labor, social insurance, and leave regulations.

• Support compliance checks, audits, and data requests related to Japan benefits and leave programs.

• Identify compliance risks, gaps, or recurring errors and escalate with clear analysis and recommendations.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the operational point of contact for Japan benefits and leave vendors.

• Track vendor responsiveness, data quality, and SLA adherence.

• Manage issue resolution, escalations, and follow-ups with clear ownership.

• Partner closely with HRBPs, Payroll, and Global COEs to ensure alignment and timely decisions.

5. Case Management & Employee Support

• Resolve employee inquiries related to Japan benefits and leaves through case management systems.

• Deliver responses that are:

We are looking for a hands-on, HR Operations Executive to own the full HR function for our Singapore office.

This is an individual contributor role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced Tech Consultancy environment, is highly organized, and takes pride in both operational excellence and creating a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Compliance:

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: Offer Letters, Pre/Post-Onboarding etc.
• Coordinate Timesheet Management in collaboration with the Finance/Operations team
• Handle payroll processing and CPF submissions
• Liaise with the Finance Team on IRAS GST, ECI filings, and Corporate tax matters

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of HR experience, ideally within an Tech Consultancy or Professional Services environment
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore Employment Law, MOM regulations, CPF rules, and the Employment Act
• Hands-on experience with work pass applications and MOM portal
• Familiarity with IRAS processes (GST, ECI, IR21, IR8A, AIS withholding tax), ability to liaise confidently with Regional Finance Team
• Experience with 3rd party HR/EOR vendors (Multiplier, Deel, etc.)
• Payroll and CPF processing experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
