• To review, implement and maintain the workplace safety and health standards of SBST premises to ensure compliance to all the regulatory requirements of the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislative requirements.
• Required to travel around Singapore and to work in outdoor work environment on a daily basis.
• To perform duties of a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) to support the Bus Business about WSH matters to be compliance to the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislative requirements.
• To evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
• To carry out WSH compliance audit and inspection.
• To attend, to conduct WSH incident investigations (including non-working hours when required) and to review investigation findings to identify root cause of incident.
• To act as Secretary of WSH Committee meeting of the workplaces.
• To implement, conduct document reviews of WSH Management System (WSHMS), identify areas for improvement in the WSHMS and maintain documentation.
• To coordinate WSH programme initiatives.
• To develop and deliver presentations, safety briefings, training materials, circulars, etc.
• To conduct briefing/ training to stakeholders, e.g. contractor, staff, etc.
• To support WSH policy and procedure implementation.
• To prepare and tabulate monthly reports relating to WSH matters such as statistic update.
• To conduct periodic review of incident trends and effectiveness of WSH performance, and make recommendations for improvements.
• To review, assess and evaluate of Access Permit Application/ PTW submission by staff and appointed contractors to ensure adequacy on reasonably practicable measures been taken to ensure the safety and health of the person carrying out the work.
• To liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. LTA, MOM, etc) on WSH related matters.
• Any other ad-hoc job assignments by the company.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Occupational Safety and/or Environmental Health or related fields
• Completed the WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C) course or higher
• Auditor trainined in ISO45001:2008
• Completed Work At Height (WAH) Assessor course
• Relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
• Preferably with at least minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in WSH relating to engineering, construction planning or facilities management, including WSH program management in such field.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent decision, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision, within a dynamic work environment.

We are looking for a hands-on Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to oversee and drive safety practices at our precast production plant and yard. This role focuses on day-to-day workplace safety, ensuring compliance with Singapore WSH regulations, and working closely with production team to prevent incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce workplace safety practices in accordance with requirements by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and relevant authorities

• Act as the appointed Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) for plant / yard operations

• Conduct and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for precast production, lifting activities, and site installation works

• Monitor high-risk activities such as Lifting operations (precast elements, heavy components), Work at height, Machinery and yard operations

• Carry out daily site inspections, identify unsafe practices, and follow through on corrective actions

• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures

• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety trainings for workers and subcontractors

• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities on all WSH matters

• Ensure all safety documentation, permits, and records are properly maintained and up to date

• Support internal and external audits, including compliance with company and regulatory standard

Requirements

• Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower

• Possess a Specialist Diploma / recognised qualification in Workplace Safety & Health

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction or precast environment

• Strong working knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Lifting operations and heavy equipment safety, Singapore WSH regulations and compliance requirements

• Comfortable working on-site (construction / precast yard environment)

• Able to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, and management

Responsibilities:

Counter & Administrative Duties

• Patient registration, temperature and weight taking
• Handling CHAS, Medisave, and Healthier SG transactions
• Dispensing medication and collecting payments (familiar with e-payment modes such as QR pay and NETS)
• Managing appointment bookings for chronic disease follow-ups and sending patient reminders
• Answering phone and counter enquiries in a professional manner
• Performing claims submission (e.g., Medisave, CHAS, MBS, Managed Care/TPA insurance claims)
• General administrative support and record keeping

Clinical Support

• Performing COVID-19 and Influenza swabs
• Conducting ECGs and assisting doctors during consultations when required

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O-Level or above, with relevant experience in a healthcare / GP clinic setting
• At least 2 years of GP clinic working experience (required)
• Strong IT proficiency (clinic systems, Managed Care portals, MBS, MHCP, and TPA claim portals)
• Good command of spoken and written English; ability to converse in Mandarin and/or Malay is an advantage to communicate with non-English speaking patients
• Diligent, customer service oriented, with a pleasant disposition
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to rostered shifts
• Able to commit to rostered shifts (including evenings and/or weekends where required)
