This is a strategic role focused on risk integration, Critical Risk Management maturity, contractor management, psychosocial risk management, and assurance. You will operate at a high level and provide visible, values-driven leadership across operations.

About the Role

• Reporting to the HS Manager, you will:
• Implement and Lead continuous improvement of the Mine Safety Management System (MSMS)
• Build and maintain the Enterprise Risk Profile, integrating business and operational risk
• Lead Critical Risk Management (CRM)frameworks, tools and verification programs
• Develop and oversee the Contractor Management System
• Embed Psychosocial Risk Management into operational systems
• Lead a structured Safety Assurance Framework(audits, critical control verification, performance analytics)
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen risk ownership and leadership capability
• Drive simplification, digitalisation and data-led safety improvements via MYOSH

What You Bring

• 8+ years’ HSE experience in mining or heavy industry
• Demonstrated experience in MSMS and Critical Risk frameworks
• Proven ability to influence operational leaders
• Strong knowledge in AS 480001 system thinking
• Passion for inclusive leadership and building diverse teams

• 3 - 5 Days per week including 1 weekend (Sat or Sun)
• 8.5 hours per day (including 1 hour lunch break)
• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Salary: $12 / hr (weekdays), $13 / hr (weekend) + Commission
